I'm Emma S., the breeder behind Desoto Doodles located in Southeast Arcadia, FL. At Desoto Doodles, our goal is to raise healthy, well-socialized Goldendoodle puppies and place them into the homes of families who love the breed as much as we do. Our puppies are bred for loyalty, intelligence, affection, and low to non-shedding coats—traits that not only make them wonderful companions but also often help reduce allergic reactions in their owners.
Our dogs and puppies are raised on our 20-acre ranch, where they enjoy plenty of space to run, play, and explore outdoors every day. We believe that early socialization is key, so each puppy receives daily love, attention, and interaction—not only from us but also from children and other dogs. By the time they go home with you at 8 weeks old, they’re already well on their way to becoming confident, well-adjusted family members.
Q. & A. with Emma
Why did you start breeding?
Our journey with Goldendoodles began in 2019 when my husband brought home his first Golden Retriever and Poodle — Captain and Kaydo. We raised a few litters of standard size goldendoodles and instantly fell in love with the breed and raising puppies— they are a huge part of our family and bring us so much joy. Since then we have started focusing on mini/toy goldendoodles as well as Bernedoodles. In 2024, our daughter joined the adventure and already shares our love for the dogs.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
