I'm Jamie D., the breeder behind Deuce's Doodles located in Mechanicville, NY. We help to pair you with a puppy that fits your family in activity level and temperament. We complete a developmentally appropriate curriculum and focus on good socialization. Our dogs are health tested. Pups will begin their immunizations and be vet checked prior to going to their forever homes.

Why did you start breeding?
My husband wanted to breed his favorite, high-quality hunting dog. However, we found that we placed almost all of our dogs as family pets; as in our vetting process, we found we were uncomfortable with the way many people care for their hunting dogs. As such, we have refocused our program on producing healthy, well-adjusted family pets.What makes your program special?
I am a school psychologist by trade and focus on positive socialization and educating our families about doggie development. We keep in lifelong communication with our families to share health and development information and to help problem-solve along the way.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Generalized
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
