I'm Devin G., the breeder behind Devin’s Purple Poodles located in Fort Calhoun, NE. We are active in Conformation, Barn Hunts, Scent Work, CGC & Trick Dog. We take pride in our dog's health test & temperament test. The goal we set and which we believe is still the most important, is to produce healthy puppies that make a well-rounded character in an adult dog.

Why did you start breeding?
I was a bather and never meet a naughty Poodle on the grooming table. I thought that’s the breed for me! So intelligent, loyal and always wanting to please!What makes your program special?
We take pride in preserving our purebred Poodles. Health and temperament are very important to us. We test their abilities in the show ring and hunting abilities whether it be in barn hunts or scent work.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature, moyen, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, apricot, black, blue, brown, cafe au lait, cream, red, silver-beige, parti, phantom, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Devin partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

Devin is quite possibly the best breeder on the planet. This lady is exceedinly passionate about raising the best poodles. I waited to review until our Stormi was six months old because, well, everyone is in love with their brand new puppy. Our experience has only gotten better over the months. The time Devin spends offering new experiences to the puppies and exposing them to all kinds of stimuli obviously pays off. Our pup slept all night her first night at home. She is loving, attentive and smart. She has been exceptionally easy to train. We've had a lot of puppies over the years and I have to say we've never had such a positive experience. Devin is always available to answer our questions and address any concerns. Best experience ever. We highly recommend Devin's Purple Poodles if you're looking for the Standard Poodle of your dreams. Dreams really do come true.
