Meet the breeder

I'm Kristel C., the breeder behind Diamond Doodle Pups and Poodles located in Forney, TX. At Diamond Doodle Pups & Poodles, we specialize in Rare Micro Goldendoodles (10–17 lbs) raised in our home with love, structure, and intention. Hypoallergenic, and ideal for families and apartments. Each puppy is pre-loved, pre-socialized, and goes home with a full starter kit and lifelong support.

Q. & A. with Kristel

  • Why did you start breeding?

I began breeding after my own experiences as a puppy buyer. I realized how overwhelming it can be to bring home a puppy w/out guidance, structure, or clear expectations. I wanted to create a program rooted in transparency, education, & intentional care. My goal is to raise puppies with thoughtful routines, early socialization. I want families to feel, confident, supported, & prepared day 1.
  • What makes your program special?

Our program is designed to create confident, well adjusted companions. (They just so happen to be cute and cuddly). We raise our pups in-home with hands on care, early neurological stimulation (ENS), thoughtful socialization, and routine exposure. We lay the foundation that makes the transition into their new homes smoother. We start them on potty and kennel training as well.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Poodle puppies are toy size. Goldendoodle puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, phantom, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Kristel truly knows her litter! Our sweet Maple (Zara) was exactly as she described and so well trained. We were surprised how calm she is, and she is the sweetest girl! She is the perfect addition as my companion and to the family overall!

Working with Kristel was so easy. She answered emails right away. All my questions were answered without hesitation. Everything Kristel told us about Poppy were spot on. We live five hours from her so she was very willing to meet us half way. We talk about once a day which has been nice. We got Poppy as a playmate for our other doodle. Kristel has been interested in the transition. I got a new puppy and a new friend!

We adopted our sweet Maggie from Kristel and she is the BEST!! Maybe the cutest puppy I’ve ever seen, and so well socialized and trained. She’s a delight and already a fifth member of the family. Kristel was always so responsive to my questions and we FaceTimed with Maggie while we were still making up our mind. Maggie is a real snuggle bug and has just enough playfulness to keep the kids on their toes!

Adopting our puppy from Kristel was a great experience! She made it so easy by FaceTiming and answering any questions we had through the app. She was always quick to respond, and made it easy when we changed our mind about which puppy we wanted. Asher is a cutie, and it’s obvious that he was well cared for as a baby. We’re so excited to see him grow up with our daughter!
