Golden Retriever
About Kimber
Kimber is a very natural, steady, and emotionally balanced mother. Kimber stepped into motherhood with quiet instinct. Even though this wasn’t a planned litter and she’s still young herself, she showed up for her puppies in a calm, attentive way. She nursed a large litter of eleven, which is no small task, and maintained good body condition through it. That alone speaks to her resilience and maternal drive. She cleaned them diligently, checked on them consistently, and adjusted as they grew. As the puppies became more independent, Kimber began to create healthy space, not out of rejection, but out of instinct. She shifted from constant nursing to short, efficient sessions. She goes into the box to tidy, lick, and monitor, but she’s also confident enough to step away. That’s a sign of a stable, secure dam. Kimber embodies the classic Golden Retriever temperament: affectionate, emotionally balanced, intuitive, and resilient. We are so proud of the mother she has been and the strong foundation she has given her puppies.
