Doodalicious

Meet the breeder

I'm Jordan C., the breeder behind Doodalicious located in Concord, CA. My dogs are bred to be calm and easy to train. I look for proper confirmation; hips, shoulders and face structure. My adults are mild mannered (not hyper or neurotic). I am adamant that my puppies go through the Rule of 7 program. Early stimulation development can mean the difference in temperament!

Q. & A. with Jordan

  • Why did you start breeding?

My family has rescued animals all my life. My mom showed me how to cherish them like they were part of the family. I have always been obsessed with caring for my pets. I truly enjoyed seeing them happy. Throughout high school and college I always had a dog by my side. I would bring my German Shepherd to class with me as my service dog in training. Everyone always knew me as the dog lady, I guess some things never change! My love of aussies grew when I adopted a show quality black tri boy back in 2015. He grew to be my heart & sole and was the BEST dog I've ever owned. I have spent the last four years trying to recreate him. I want the biddability of the Australian shepherd, composure of Berner and the cuddliness of the poodle. My goal is the ultimate comfort companion!
  • What makes your program special?

My in house program is small. I only intend to have 3-4 dogs in my care at any given time. The rest are in guardian homes. That allows me to invest more time in socializing my puppies, more freedom for health care and the ability to keep my dogs in my home and part of the family. I want my families to be incredibly pleased and happy with their pups.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Goldendoodle puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Golden Retriever puppies are light golden. Miniature American Shepherd puppies include blue merle and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
