I'm Susan, the breeder behind Doodle Dandy Bernedoodles located in Springfield, MO. Our Focus: Healthy, happy, socialized pups so you can enjoy the love of a Doodle. Babies are raised in our home - not in a kennel. These dogs bring happiness, love & companionship to our lives & it's a privilege to share that with responsible breeding.   • Why did you start breeding?

    It has been my passion since I was a child. When I grew up and got my first farm I started competing with my dogs and had some litters - always in my home from birth to go home. Concocting outings to keep my pups on top of the social game is always fun. Every day I learn new things and always try to focus on how to improve on what we do!

  • What makes your program special?

    My dogs are well socialized good citizens, pass their health testing, have wonderful conformation, and the babies go home and have our families always contacting us back with how amazed they are! My puppies are raised in the house and are well socialized with other dogs, cats, farm animals, children and the great outdoors. They're even exposed to the horses!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies include mini, medium, and standard sizes. Aussiedoodle puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies include yellow and white, red, brown and white, brown, sable, black, black and white, tri-color, phantom, blue merle, and merle. Aussiedoodle puppies include sable, blue merle, red merle, black phantom, black and white, black tri-color, red phantom, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Susan

Susan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Susan partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Agfter losing my 11 year old female maltese our house felt empty with a fur baby to cuddle and greet us when we came home. I was looking at Bernedoodle puppies to find a female near my home.     Susan was very responsive and helpful during the process of searching for and purchasing a puppy. She also was great sharing additional advice on food, training and vet care tips!     Susan was great right from the start. She responded to our application very quickly and gave us detailed information and answered all our questions. Susan explained the process and let us know what we would need to do if we chose to continue with adopting Bentley (formerly, Happy, one of the Seven Dwarfs). It was an easy decision, as we were comfortable and at easy with Susan. She made arrangements to have a pet nanny fly with our puppy in the cabin of the plane to our home state in New York. Susan is an honest and caring breeder who has experience caring for animals, both as a veterinarian technician and at home on a horse farm. Throughout the whole process, communication was great. Susan was always available to answer our many questions and offer advice. Even after we had Bentley home with us, Susan followed up to make sure everything was ok. We would recommend Susan if you are looking for a well cared for and health puppy.
