I'm Elizabeth G., the breeder behind Doodle MAINEia located in Saco, ME. My business partner Melissa and I are committed to upholding the integrity of the breed. We selectively choose all our dogs by looking at the whole picture: health, structure, temperament, and color. We work closely with reproduction vets and seek their professional guidance. We raise our dogs in loving homes and our puppies have been nurtured to handle all types of situations and stimuli during their formative growth period. This ensures that our puppies have the necessary foundation to grow into secure adult dogs.

Elizabeth has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Elizabeth partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.
“Our Puppy Picking Process Choosing your new family member is one of the most exciting parts of bringing home a puppy, and we want you to feel confident and supported every step of the way! As the puppies grow, we conduct temperament testing to help us better understand each puppy’s unique personality, energy level, confidence, and individual traits. We share videos of the temperament testing, along with each puppy’s scores, in our private Facebook group so families can watch, learn, and get to know the puppies before making their decision. We also post photos, videos and updates as they grow from newborns until they go home! We leave the group open even after they leave us so we can continue to follow their journey and new puppy families can stay connected with each other. Our puppy parents get to choose their own puppy! We believe that finding the right match is a personal and special experience. You’ll have the opportunity to watch the videos, review the temperament scores, and see which puppy’s personality feels like the best fit for your family, lifestyle, and home. We are here to guide you throughout the entire process. We’ll help you understand the temperament results, answer your questions, and offer our insight based on the time we’ve spent raising and getting to know each puppy. While we are happy to provide recommendations and guidance, the final choice is yours! Our goal is to help every family find their perfect match and give each puppy the best possible start in their forever home. We want you to feel excited, informed, and confident when the time comes to choose your new best friend.”

“Our puppy pricing is based on many different factors. Much time, money, and love are poured into each dog and our prices reflect the care that goes into raising a litter of healthy, happy puppies. Our reservation fee is refundable, but transferrable to another litter if there isn't a puppy that is a good fit or something comes up that doesn't allow folks to take a puppy home.”
Elizabeth may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Elizabeth offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Elizabeth directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.
