Doodle Paradise

Audrey J.

Breeder of Goldendoodles and Shorkies

Meet the breeder

I'm Audrey J., the breeder behind Doodle Paradise located in Kelso,Longview, WA. My prices are lower because I don’t believe in the high priced market. I guarantee my puppies have everything the $4000 puppies do, if not more. I go above and beyond for my puppies. I'm a low-volume hobby-breeder, for this reason I am able to provide some of the best puppies available. I absolutely love these dogs, I am obsessed with their intelligence, temperament and loyalty! We are dedicated and will provide you with a positive experience from start to finish, offering lifelong support. I am committed to responsible breeding practices, training, socialization, and their quality of care, ensuring that our puppies will have the best possible start to life. I am a veterinary professional and have 25+ years of experience, I am trained in animal behavior and continue to stay up to date with veterinary practices. This is my passion, the love I have for them is the reason I do what I do. I believe it’s my responsibility to raise them up in the best ways possible so they are ready for their forever families. Our parents reside in our home, sleep in our bed when they don’t have little ones and are all spoiled with love and affection. We spend countless hours handling, training, loving, and nurturing our puppies, to provide them with the best possible start and their new family, a healthy, intelligent companion to last many years to come. We have children of all ages and other pets in the home and introduce them to all different kinds of sounds at birth, ensuring all of our puppies are well socialized. Our mini goldendoodle puppies are F1b, little to no shedding, and will have lots of beautiful curls. Our shorkie-poo puppies are also little to no shedding. At 3-5 days old they will be provided with their first examination by our licensed veterinarian to remove their dewclaws. Each puppy will be dewormed age appropriately and receive a microchip with registration information. At 8 weeks of age they will receive their second examination from our veterinarian, this time they will be given their first vaccine and will get a written clean bill of health for their family to take with them. This vaccine requires a booster every 3 weeks until 16 weeks of age. Other vaccines can be administered age appropriately with a veterinarian of your choosing such as, Bordetella, Leptospirosis, Influenza and Lyme. These vaccines are extremely important for keeping your puppy protected, safe and healthy. Prior to walking out the door, each puppy will receive their first dose of flea, tick and heartworm prevention. I will also have a folder of all documentation, vaccination records, veterinarian evaluation, microchip registry as well as a large travel bag for each puppy to go home, providing you with all the essential needs for travel and the immediate transition away from mom.

Q. & A. with Audrey

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always had a passion for animals and I have worked in the field all my life. I found a passion in bringing joy to other people by raising social, intelligent, healthy puppies. We have too many breeders out there who do it for the wrong reasons or don’t provide them with them with the proper care, training, socialization and love, everything counts. For these reasons, I am committed to ensuring each one of my puppies have a perfect start to life and will make the most wonderful addition to your family!
  • What makes your program special?

I currently work at a Pet Hospital and have worked in veterinary medicine for over 25 years, I believe in providing the most up to date researched based care for all of our dogs and puppies! I stay up to date with all the current education for myself and you, to ensure the quality of care. Our parents are first and foremost our pets, they sleep in our bed and are treated like one of the children, sometimes better😂 (jk). I do not believe in excessive breeding so we closely monitor their overall health, behavior and skip cycles. We provide each of our moms a break and limit total number of litters to ensure her safety and wellbeing. As of now, we have decided on breeding only mini doodles and shorkie-poo babies. My mom has the same passion for goldendoodles, she breeds standard F1b puppies and lives only 30 minutes from here. We do not want to over populate just because we have a passion for the breed.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, and red. Shorkie puppies include black and tan, black, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
