Meet the breeder

I'm Debra P., the breeder behind Doodles are Amazing located in Roy, UT. We’re devoted to ensuring our puppies are healthy and will grow into wonderful dogs and fill their families' lives with happiness! We raise our puppies with a lot of love and quality time. These pups are well-socialized and used to cuddling and playing with very young children. It’s a privilege to raise, love, and have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy's life! We specialize in beautiful, well-socialized, healthy Goldendoodles and Bernedoodles, with great temperaments! We offer a variety of sizes and generational breeding. We strive to produce low to non-shedding dogs that are better suited for allergy sufferers. At Doodles are amazing we have been breeding and raising wonderful canine companions for over 30 years. We have placed many amazing puppies into forever-loving families. It is so rewarding to match families with puppies that are best suited for each other. At Doodles are Amazing, we add that personal touch, to help you find the puppy that fits your home, family, and lifestyle. Our pups are raised with a lot of human attention, cuddles, playtime, and love. Our pups spend plenty of time with young children and are therefore used to the noise and activity of little people. As small puppies (3-16 days) they receive (ENS) early neurological stimulation this helps them to be more resistant to stress and helps them to have stronger cardiovascular systems. Research shows, that this helps dogs cope better, throughout their lives with stress-causing factors and problem-solving abilities. Our young pups also receive (ESI) Early Sent Introduction. ESI increases neuroplasticity in neonates. It also helps dogs to be more successful throughout their lives by stimulating the brain’s ability to adapt and function. It helps dogs have greater scent recognition and gives them greater tracking abilities. ESI also greatly benefits dogs that will be used for diabetes support, emotional support, or other service capacities. Come meet our puppies today! If you don’t live in the area, it’s not a problem. We have dependable escorts available! Our breeding dogs live in guardian homes and have wonderful family lives.

Q. & A. with Debra

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always loved animals, especially babies. While I was growing up, my father used to raise German Roller Canaries. My mother and I would help hand-feed them when their own mothers wouldn’t. When I was five, I got my first two pet mice. My mom said I could have one, but when my dad and I came home with two very pregnant mice, my mom wasn’t so sure how she felt about that. Since I was a young child, I have raised a wide variety of small animals and I enjoyed it so much! So as an adult, it was very natural for me to start raising wonderful canine companions. I have been breeding and raising, high-quality puppies and dogs for over 30 years. The first dogs I bred were Dalmatians, then American Eskimos, then on to Golden Retrievers and Goldendoodles. Most recently I have added Bernedoodles. I have really loved all the sweet animals I have had and raised, but the Goldendoodles and Bernedoodles have such amazing personalities that I think they are my favorite! Bernedoodles and Goldendoodles are quite similar. They are both so smart, eager to please, make great family companions and are ideally low to non-shedding. Both are fantastic breeds. Each individual dog/puppy has its own unique personality. I am happy to communicate with you to help you select the perfect pup for your family! Most of our breeding dogs live in guardian homes, and they all have wonderful families.
  • What makes your program special?

Our puppies are well socialized and used to noisy, active young children! They come with a two-year health guarantee. All our adult dogs have been health tested.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Bernedoodle puppies include mini, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, black, merle, and parti. Bernedoodle puppies include sable, black and white, tri-color, phantom, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

Debra is one the best breeders I have seen. She is such a simple woman with very clear communication. We loved every detail she had posted. Our boy Kulfi was exactly what she had described and never sugar coated anything. One of the best things with Debra is the amount of information she shares about the parents’ health. That definitely helped us make the decision. She responds on time and very good and sharing updates

Debra was very responsive and helpful with us (as first time dog owners) making a decision. We went with her based on her long list of positive reviews, and couldn’t be happier! Our puppy has been great so far, no health issues, and can’t wait to see how he grows

Debra was very easy to communicate and work with. She was accommodating when arranging for pickup. We picked up Emmett (previously Watson from Marley and Teddy litter) March 15 and it was all very easy 🙂 Emmett is a happy, playful, and curious boy with beautiful coloring. He’s been a great addition to our family and we’re looking forward to him being our mountain hiking buddy!

Debra was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. She always responds with in 1 to 2 hours if not sooner and she was completely understanding about me not paying the full amount until I saw my little Snorlax. Most importantly, my doodle is the most amazing and I couldn't be happier to have him in my life! Thank from the bottom of my heart, Debra!

We have had our puppy for two weeks now, and are absolutely in love with him! Tucker (formerly Saffron) is an absolute joy. He is confident and comfortable around men, women, kids and other dogs. He has a sweet playful disposition, exactly what Debra had told me to expect. He is a good eater, and shows zero signs of food aggression. Debra was responsive and helpful in both making a puppy selection and getting us ready to bring him home. She even managed to arrange transportation to CA with another puppy parent! Thank you Debra!

Debra was a delight to work with. Very easy to communicate with as well as very quick responses back from her. Debra shared our little guy pretty often with updates of him growing as well as a video here and there as we were in different states. When it was time to pick him up to come live with us, Debra had everything we needed. Went over everything we would need to know up front. I can't tell you how much we love our sweet boy. Very intelligent little guy. I highly recommend Debra to anyone looking for a bernedoodle puppy. 🐶
