Meet the breeder

I'm Kristin B., the breeder behind Doting Doodles located in Mc Gaheysville, VA. My name is Kristin, and I am the breeder behind Doting doodles in Illinois & Virginia! Every puppy I raise is adorned as part of our family from birth. My goal is to complete your family with the perfect fur-baby for life. My reviews are on google!

Q. & A. with Kristin

  • Why did you start breeding?

My daughter is always had allergies to pet dander…. And hay at the barn, so I was looking for a dog that was hypoallergenic. We got our first Bernedoodle followed by standard poodle! And I was just totally hooked on these breeds! NO shedding, hypoallergenic, smart, adorable.🥰
  • What makes your program special?

My puppies are all raised in my home. They will be socialized, potty trained to potty pads, we use early neurological stimulation (ENS) & ESI puppy training as well. My breedings are thoroughly thought through for a temperament, personality, and beauty.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include mini, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include chocolate merle, brown, black, black and white, tri-color, blue merle, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Kristin was very responsive and easy to work with. We just love our puppy so much. He was well socialized at 8 weeks and has adapted very well which says a lot about his first 8 weeks of life. Our vet said he is in perfect health and is by far the cutest Bernedoodle they have ever seen.

I’ve never looked for A dog this way so I was so nervous! From the first conversation I had with Kristy- she set me at ease! I had interest in A puppy A feed days after they were born. From that point on I was included in all the updates- She is knowledgeable as well as very caring for her animals. She cares about where they go and was never annoyed at how many questions I had to ask. By the end of the process, it was like texting a friend. We could not be more in love with our beautiful little boy!

We came to Kristin with a lot of specific needs and she delivered without missing a beat. Kristin is responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in where her puppies land. She matched us with exactly the right dog for our family — and the trainers she recommended confirmed it within 24 hours: “Richka is exceptional.” We’d work with Kristin again in a heartbeat. I truly can’t recommend her enough.

Kristen has been extremely communicative and helpful from the first day of matching us with a puppy. We were able to watch him grow from a newborn to a confident 8 week old puppy through the numerous pictures, videos, and updates Kristen sends. Our Bernedoodle Bruno is a very well tempered dog and we constantly get compliments on how adorable he is (which I could not agree more). I would seriously recommend anyone from around the country to adopt a Bernedoodle from Kristen. We could not be happier!

I can’t say enough about Kristin from Doting Doodles!! We picked up a Bernedoodle pup 6 months prior to meeting Kristin. We love our boy but there were several issues we ran into that we weren’t happy about. We knew right away we wanted a playmate for our little guy and began our search for a breeder. We looked local first and immediately discovered Kristin and her Doting Doodles! Every puppy she had was beautiful. I think it was mid February when we started talking. She really took the time to help match us up with what we wanted. Along this journey I had no idea how much I didn’t know and can’t begin to thank Kristin enough for all that she taught me. It’s crazy how things work out. We ended up getting the puppy that drew me to her site in my initial search. I’m a person that believes things always happen for a reason. So when Arlo became available we couldn’t pass him up.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Doting Doodles, and I can’t say enough good things about Kristin. From the very beginning, she was responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. It was clear that she puts her whole heart into raising her puppies and ensuring they are healthy, well-socialized, and loved. Kristin took the time to answer all of my questions, kept me updated throughout the process, and made me feel completely confident every step of the way. I am so grateful for the care and dedication she showed, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience or my puppy. Highly recommend Doting Doodles to anyone looking for a responsible, thoughtful breeder.
