I'm Kristin B., the breeder behind Doting Doodles located in Mc Gaheysville, VA. My name is Kristin, and I am the breeder behind Doting doodles in Virginia! Every puppy I raise is adorned as part of our family from birth. My goal is to complete your family with the perfect fur-baby for life. My reviews are on google!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My daughter is always had allergies to pet dander…. And hay at the barn, so I was looking for a dog that was hypoallergenic. We got our first Bernedoodle followed by standard poodle! And I was just totally hooked on these breeds! NO shedding, hypoallergenic, smart, adorable.🥰

  • What makes your program special?

    My puppies are all raised in my home. They will be socialized, potty trained to potty pads, we use early neurological stimulation (ENS) & ESI puppy training as well. My breedings are thoroughly thought through for a temperament, personality, and beauty.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies include mini, medium, and standard sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies include brown, black and white, tri-color, and blue merle. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, chocolate, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,300 - $3,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

    Kristin is so great to work with! You can really tell how much knowledge she has with this breed, and how much time she invents into bernedoodles/her litters. Her communication has always been amazing- she is very responsive with any questions and also provided us with so much important information and tips. We can tell from the 2 weeks of having our Benny boy home that she really provided him with the best care to set him up for success in his new home.     We had a wonderful experience with Kristin and the adoption process through Doting Doodles. Kristin was so helpful, easy to talk to, kind, responsive, supportive in our adoption journey, and truly an open book. We were receiving regular updates on the litter we were interested in (F1 Medium Bernedoodles): photos, videos, useful info, health updates, etc. She helped us choose the perfect dog for our family, and we were even able to come and meet the litter before making our choice! We adopted from Jack and Roxy’s litter, and brought home our beautiful Merle Bernedoodle boy, Rowan. You can truly tell how much effort and care Kristin puts into not only the puppies, but all the dogs in her care. She treats all those puppies and adults like family, and we have been so thrilled and impressed with Rowan’s temperament, health, trainability, and his gorgeous appearance. Kristin is a one of a kind outstanding breeder, who is an absolute gem. She walked us through every step of the process, was always willing to help with the transition, answered any and all questions (and I had a lot as a first time puppy owner), she readily provided health info on the parent dogs and puppies, and I love that she is still involved with the adopting families and invested in the wellbeing of the puppies even weeks after we took our baby boy home. She was always so quick to respond and handle any scheduling, questions, concerns, and went above and beyond for us when we were interested in adopting a puppy. I feel so thankful that we found her and Doting Doodles. She helped us to add the perfect little furry member to complete our family, and I could not have asked for a more phenomenal experience throughout the entire process.     Kristin is unbelievable. She is so responsive not just before but after my puppy came home. She responds to all my texts with tips about how to raise my pup. She answered all my questions before as well and was sending pics of Nellie as she grew up. Not only that, Nellie’s temperament is unbelievable. She started sleeping through the night on the second night. If you are getting a doodle, do yourself a favor and get one from Kristin. You’ll be grateful like I am.
