Dove Creek Golden Retrievers

Brett P.

Breeder of Golden Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Brett P., the breeder behind Dove Creek Golden Retrievers located in Woodland Park, CO. I'm focused on breeding Golden Retrievers that are capable of being strong hunting companions, hunt test and field trial competitors. My primary focus is upland hunting, with a strong emphasis on pheasant hunting. In the off season when I'm not hunting, I run AKC & UKC licensed hunt tests.

Q. & A. with Brett

  • What makes your program special?

I focus on breeding high quality field-bred Goldens and in order to stay on track with my vision, I only breed to high quality, accomplished field sires. Furthermore, it is my goal to only place puppies with individuals who hunt game birds or compete in hunt test and field trials. However, I will consider a limited number of active pet homes from each litter.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
