Beth, our beloved AKC Registered Bernese Mountain Dog, plays a pivotal role in our breeding program. As the granddaughter of the esteemed AKC CHAMPION, Mr., and the daughter of our renowned MJ, she carries a prestigious lineage. Her mother, Princess, an AKC Bernese Mountain Dog, has earned an excellent rating for her hip from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. Beth boasts a sturdy build and the highly sought-after bear head feature. Her affectionate nature, love for belly scratches, and ever-present look of adoration make her a delight to be around. She loves to follow you and be pet. We are incredibly fortunate to have her as part of our breeding efforts. With genetic testing conducted by Animal Genetics, Beth is clear of common diseases in the Bernese breed. She resides in a guardian home, surrounded by some of her sisters and half-sisters, and is lovingly cared for by four small children.

Meet Sophia! We are so excited to introduce this girl into our program. She has been a much awaited prospect, and we are thrilled she checked all the boxes to be a mama at Down Home! The stunning girl is an F1 Mini Bernedoodle weighing at 38Ibs. She is a daughter of Hazel, also Eva’s mama. Her dad is Tiger, our main guy at Down Home who throws non-fading tan points. Sophia is genetically clear and has just the right testing to throw beautiful, non-fading, and hypoallergenic babies. Not only is she an absolute stunner, she has a very sweet laid back temperament as well. She is extremely gentle, smart, and cuddly.

Meet Nancy! This little lady is a delightful toy poodle and a cherished part of our program. At just 10 lbs, Nancy is small but stunning, with perfectly defined, non-fading tan points that give her a striking and elegant look. Her soft, shiny coat and vibrant tan markings truly make her stand out. Nancy’s gentle, calm disposition is one of her most endearing qualities. She’s a quiet, loving soul who enjoys relaxing by your side or having a peaceful play session. Her easygoing nature makes her a wonderful companion, and it’s no surprise she’s been such an incredible mom to her puppies. Though this is her first litter, Nancy has taken to motherhood with remarkable grace and care. Her nurturing instincts are exceptional, and she’s proven to be both attentive and loving with her tiny Micro Bernedoodle puppies. Raine is a female Poodle. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Elyzza decided to make her part of their program. Elyzza has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Darla is our adorable Bernese Mountain Dog mama with the sweetest, most gentle soul. She weighs 89 pounds and, despite her size, is built in the cutest, stockiest way with short little legs and the most precious snout. She has a teddy-bear look that everyone falls in love with instantly. Her personality is just as wonderful as her looks. Darla is calm, quiet, and incredibly gentle. She is amazing with kids, loves going for walks, and is an absolute dream of a mama, so attentive, nurturing, and loving with her puppies. She truly takes her role seriously and is a joy to watch with her babies. Darla has completed all of her health testing, including genetic testing, OFA evaluations, and PennHIP. We are beyond excited to incorporate her into our program for her beautiful structure, sweet temperament, and excellent health. She is exactly the kind of Bernese girl we strive to build our program around. 🐾

In all our years of breeding, we have never encountered a Miniature Poodle with the intensity and striking features that Rooster possesses. Rooster has undergone comprehensive genetic testing and is clear of all diseases affecting his breed, including the rare conditions CDDY and CDPA, which are particularly hard to find in Miniature Poodles. Pumpkin, the offspring of Smiley and Sailor, not only inherits their sweet disposition but also has been genetically tested and cleared of any common diseases in the breed. Pumpkin resides in a guardian home near our Ohio location, where she is adored by four wonderful kids who simply love her. Elaine is a very special part of our program and carries on the beautiful legacy of her beloved mom, Hazel, who has been an important foundation girl in our program for many years. We are so proud to continue Hazel’s exceptional genetics through Elaine and her sister, Linda—both girls we intentionally held back because of their outstanding qualities. Elaine has rich, deep rust tan points and the sweetest, most gentle-hearted disposition you could ask for. She is calm, loving, and deeply people-oriented, with a soft nature that shines through in everything she does. She has passed all of her health testing with flying colors and has already proven herself to be an excellent, attentive mom. Meet Striker! This handsome little stud muffin is a proud and beloved part of our program. Striker weighs about 13 pounds, and he is every bit as cute as he looks. He has the sweetest, friendliest personality, always the first one to greet you and soak up attention. He’s an easy-going, goofy boy. We are especially excited about his puppies because of the intensity he consistently produces, very similar to our well-known stud Mr. Tiger, who was a staple in our program for years. Striker throws vibrant tan points, rich coloring, and very minimal to no-fading. His puppies have super soft, luscious coats with beautiful, well-furnished faces. Striker is fully health tested, including genetic testing, PennHIP, OFA heart, elbows, shoulders..ect and he is AKC registered. He is in excellent health and passes those strong genetic traits to his puppies. We absolutely adore this boy, his personality, his coloring, his structure, and the quality he brings to our litters. We are so excited for everything he will continue to contribute to our program!

Kassie is our AKC Registered Bernese Mountain Dog with an impressive champion lineage and a heartwarming temperament. Meet Butterfly, our multigenerational Bernedoodle with roots two generations back in our breeding lines. Jovie has also completed her OFA/PennHIP testing and comprehensive genetic testing, giving us great confidence in her structure, longevity, and overall well-being. Meet Buttercup! Buttercup is a 50-pound Ultra Bernedoodle and a standout member of our breeding program. She is the daughter of Sammie and Mika, with Mika being a son of Sailor, one of the very first bernedoodles introduced into our lines for Ultras. Buttercup carries on this remarkable lineage. Her vibrant coat, striking blue eyes, and minimal-to-no shedding make her a true showstopper and a frequent favorite among visitors. Genetically, Buttercup is as sound as she is beautiful. She boasts a completely clear health panel, ideal coat and color genetics, and is an exceptional representation of what we aim to produce in our program. Juliet is one of the treasured moms in our Micro Bernedoodle program—a striking Merle tricolor with a gentle and affectionate nature. She was carefully selected for her exceptional genetics, ideal petite size, and calm temperament. Weighing approximately 15 pounds, Juliet is a quiet, well-mannered girl. She is not vocal or overly energetic, making her a peaceful presence in her guardian families home. Juliet truly loves being a mom—she is deeply nurturing and attentive with her puppies, always ensuring they feel safe and loved. Juliet is a wonderful example of the temperament and health we strive for in our program.

Jackie is a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog mom in our program, weighing in around 85–90 pounds depending on her condition. She is a big, stocky girl with classic Bernese structure, and we are so excited to have her joining our program and to see what she brings to future generations. Jackie is a true lover girl. She absolutely adores people and has a special soft spot for young kiddos. She is incredibly friendly, greets everyone right away, and has such a warm, gentle presence that makes her a joy to be around. As a mom, Jackie has been nothing short of amazing. She is very sweet with her puppies and takes excellent care of them, keeping them clean, well-nourished, and content. She produces plenty of milk and is attentive and nurturing. Jackie has completed her health testing, including genetic testing, PennHIP, shoulder evaluations, and additional recommended screenings. EmmyLou has fire orange tan points, which she will undoubtedly passes down to her own puppies. EmmyLou possesses an incredibly sweet disposition that endears her to everyone she meets. Committed to ensuring the health and well-being of our dogs, EmmyLou has undergone comprehensive genetic testing and is clear of all common diseases affecting her breed. Meet Laurel! Laurel is a stunning purebred Bernese Mountain Dog and a beloved part of our program. Nash's journey to our breeding program was serendipitous. Discovered accidentally through genetic testing, it quickly became clear that Nash was the perfect fit for our micro Bernedoodle breeding. His tiny size and ideal coat traits make him indispensable for creating the adorable tiny teddy bear Bernedoodles that our clients adore. Nash has undergone extensive genetic testing and is free from any of the common diseases that affect his breed. His health and well-being are of utmost importance, and we have had his hips evaluated by PennHIP. Additionally, he holds several Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) certificates, with more health evaluations planned as he matures. Living with a professional breeder, Nash is cared for with the highest standards, ensuring he remains healthy and happy. Greta adores kiddos and is the type of dog who stays right by your side during playtime or while relaxing around the house. She is incredibly affectionate and thrives on being close to her people. She is AKC registered and has completed full genetic testing with a clear panel. As a mama, Greta has been wonderful, patient, attentive, and completely in love with her puppies. Mayzie is one of our beloved Bernedoodle moms and a proud continuation of one of our favorite lines. She weighs in at 47Ibs. She’s the daughter of Lacey, a gentle, tender-hearted girl who comes from Princess, our Bernese Mountain Dog with excellent hips. Lacey’s lineage traces back to Patches, one of our very first poodle studs, making Mayzie’s genetics a true cornerstone of our program. Her father, Max, is now retired from our program but was well known for producing ultra Bernedoodles puppies with gorgeous tan points, teddy-bear faces, and loving, people-oriented temperaments. Mayzie lives with a wonderful guardian family who absolutely adores her. She is fantastic with children, incredibly gentle, and has a calm, easy-going personality. She’s not a barker, loves being around her people, and is a nurturing, devoted mama to her puppies. She has been genetically tested and is not affected by any disorders. She carries one copy of DM, but her puppies will never be affected, only possible carriers. Mayzie has completed all of her OFA and PennHIP testing for hips, patellas, elbows, and cardiac health, passing each with flying colors. We are proud to have Mayzie as part of our program, she perfectly represents the heart, health, and temperament we strive to preserve in every generation of our Down Home Doodles.

Feather, a cherished Ultra Mini Bernedoodle proudly bred here with our Down Home Doodle team. Feather comes from a carefully curated lineage, known for strong health, gentle temperaments, and the timeless, non-fading Bernedoodle markings everyone loves. She enjoys life with her sister, Colly, in a nearby guardian home, where a wonderful couple provides them with endless love on their beautiful farm, surrounded by lush gardens and open spaces to roam. Frost has that classic poodle temperament: loving, people-oriented, intelligent, and eager to please, but without being overly hyper or high-energy. He absolutely loves toys, enjoys learning, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Frost has completed full genetic testing and is clear for all common diseases found in poodles. We are so excited for Frost’s future here and cannot wait to see the beautiful standard Bernedoodle puppies he will produce.

Raven is a wonderful addition to our Bernese Mountain Dog program, bringing in a fresh, well-built lineage with classic breed type. She’s completed all recommended health testing for the breed, including hips, elbows, eyes, patellas, and a full genetic panel, ensuring a solid foundation for her puppies and helping us make thoughtful breeding decisions to continually strengthen our lines. True to her breed, Raven has a calm and affectionate personality. She’s stocky and blocky in build, loves splashing in water, playing with toys, and spending time with kids. She’s also a quiet, gentle companion who doesn’t bark much, just one of the many traits we love in Bernese Mountain Dogs. We’re thrilled to have Raven in our program and can’t wait to see the beautiful, well-rounded puppies she will produce.
