Down Home Doodle

Maize is an F1 Mini Bernedoodle, weighing in at a dainty 30lbs. This charming girl has undergone genetic testing for common breed ailments and is clear or unaffected. Maize is a people-loving pup who particularly enjoys the simple joy of belly rubs. She lives in a guardian home near Ohio, where she shares her days with four young children and a couple of other moms in the breeding program. Maize also holds certificates from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) for her heart and patella, ensuring her excellent health.

We are so excited to introduce Mary, a gorgeous F1 Bernedoodle girl out of our handsome sire, Tiger. Tiger is fully health tested and is well-known in our program for producing puppies with exceptionally vibrant ten-point markings that stay bold and rich over time. We have several girls from his lines, and Mary is a perfect example of the quality he consistently passes on. Mary has striking rich copper coloring, tons of fluff, and a luxuriously soft coat. Her vibrant tan points make her stand out with the classic Bernedoodle look we love. Beyond her beauty, Mary has also completed all of the recommended health testing, including hips, elbows, shoulders, and a full clear genetic panel. As a puppy, Mary went through our Tiny Paws program, where she gained an excellent foundation in training and socialization before joining her guardian family. She now lives with a wonderful home that has a couple of young children who absolutely adore her. Mary has proven herself to be extremely gentle, calm, and loving with them, which makes her such a special member of our program. We are beyond excited to have Mary join our mom lineup, and we are confident she will be an outstanding mother, passing down her exceptional health, stunning looks, and gentle temperament to her puppies.

Wednesday is a female Bernedoodle. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Elyzza decided to make her part of their program. Elyzza has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Mr. Tweety is one of our gorgeous up-and-coming dads here in Down Home Doodle, and he truly represents everything we love and strive for in our lines. Tweety comes from some of our absolute favorite bloodlines. His mom is Luna, who many of you will recognize and love for her beautiful build and stunning coloring. Luna is a daughter of Mr. Tiger, a cornerstone in our program whose lines many of our dogs stem from. Mr. Tiger is especially known for producing puppies with minimal fading, rich tan points, and wonderfully gentle, trainable, easy-going temperaments, and Luna is a perfect example of those traits. Tweety’s dad is Mr. Eli, another incredible producer in our program who has sired many of our litters and is known for passing on fantastic qualities, health, structure, and temperament. We are so excited about this boy and can’t wait to share more of him and his future puppies with you. He truly represents the heart, temperament, and quality we aim to preserve and improve in our program. 🤍

Meet Piper! Piper is a micro Bernedoodle female sired by Nash. She is a beautiful, sweet girl with a soft, wavy coat that gives her that classic teddy bear look. Piper has a fun, playful personality and is very outgoing, she loves toys, enjoys staying busy, and thrives on interaction. She is truly a people dog and loves being close to her family, always eager for attention and affection. Piper has passed all of her health testing, including OFA-certified good hips. She is only a carrier for PRCA, meaning she will not be affected, and neither will her pups. She is one of our smallest Bernedoodles, weighing only about 20 pounds, making her the perfectly compact.

Eloise is one of our darling little Poodles here at Down Home Doodle. Weighing just about 14 pounds, she may be petite in size, but she has a very special presence in our program, especially with her beautiful chocolate coloring. We don’t yet have many chocolates in our program, but it’s something we’re thoughtfully working toward for the future, and Eloise is such a lovely part of that vision. This sweet girl is absolutely darling. She adores people and has a naturally gentle, sensitive nature. Eloise is incredibly intuitive and soft-hearted, which makes her such a joy to be around. So far, she has proven to be a wonderful mama, attentive, nurturing, and calm with her puppies. Eloise has completely clear genetics and has completed her OFA health testing as well, giving us confidence in both her structure and long-term health. She truly is a special little girl, and we’re so thankful to have her as part of our program.

Elsa is one of our beautiful standard poodle mamas! She is daughter of two of our top dogs, Dolly and Goofy. When Elsa was first born, we were intrigued by her color and markings. She appears to be a tan and white poodle, but after genetically test was run, we discovered she is actually a Merle tri. She is definitely unique! We expect her to throw tri colored and Merle puppies. Elsa is a small standard and weighs about 27Ibs. She has the cutest personality and loves everyone. She is not a barker and is gentle with kids. She is a carrier of DM, but is completely clear otherwise. We are so excited to see her first litter of pups!

Meet Dolly 🤍 Dolly is one of our beautiful apricot and white Poodles in our program. She is very small and petite, weighing just around 14 pounds. Dolly is fully genetically clear and does not carry any known disease traits. Her hip evaluations have also come back good. She has a very sweet, friendly personality and truly loves being around her people. Her puppies have shown the same wonderful temperament so far. Dolly lives with one of our amazing guardian families, where she’s raised alongside three children (ages 4–10) and several cats. She does exceptionally well in a family environment and is gentle, social, and well-adjusted. 🐾

Nola is an exceptional AKC Registered Bernese Mountain Dog from champion, imported lines. She is a true testament to the breed standard, with a stunning build that exemplifies everything we love about Bernese Mountain Dogs. Nola has been genetically tested and is clear of all common diseases in the breed, ensuring her puppies are as healthy as they are adorable. In addition to her genetic excellence, Nola has received certifications for her hips, heart, and patella from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, further solidifying her place in our breeding program. She is lovingly cared for by a wonderful young family just miles from our home, where she enjoys a life full of love and attention. Nola is known for producing the cutest teddy bear puppies, each one a little bundle of joy that carries her sweet disposition and beautiful looks. We're incredibly proud to have Nola as part of our breeding program.

Simon is one of our cherished dads and a very special part of our program, representing many generations of intentional, purpose-driven breeding. He was bred specifically for our Micro Bernedoodle program, with a strong focus on temperament, structure, and long-term consistency. Generation after generation, Simon’s lineage is known for producing some of the sweetest, most gentle, and easy-going dogs you could ever meet—and Simon is no exception. He has the softest, kind eyes and a natural desire to please, making him an absolute joy to be around. He is truly one of the most laid-back and relaxed boys in our entire program. Simon has completed all health testing with excellent results, and we couldn’t be more excited or confident to have him contributing to the future of our lines. He lives happily in a loving Guardian Home near our Ohio location, where his calm, affectionate nature is appreciated every single day. Our stunning AKC registered Bernese Mountain Dog, Reda! With her striking features and charming personality, Reda is truly an outstanding girl. She is genetically clear of common diseases in her breed, ensuring a healthy and vibrant life. Reda holds impressive certificates for her elbows, heart, and patellas through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, demonstrating her excellent health and conformation. Currently residing in a loving guardian home near our Ohio location, Reda thrives in a family environment surrounded by young children who adore her. Mr. Shaw, our extraordinary Multigenerational Mini Bernedoodle tipping the scales at 32 lbs. Shaw was carefully selected for his unique non-fading tan points, flawless genetic testing outcomes, and ideal coat type, making him the ideal candidate for breeding Multigenerational and Ultra Bernedoodles. Shaw shines as a remarkable standout in every aspect. Porsche is a truly special girl here at Down Home Doodle, and we are so excited to share her with you. She is from Wendy (Tiger’s daughter) and George, two names that are very recognizable in our program, as we have kept back several of their puppies to continue their incredible legacy. Both Wendy and George are known for producing outstanding temperaments, gorgeous coats, and exceptional health testing, and Porsche is no exception. Porsche is completely cleared genetically, has OFA GOOD hips, and overall has absolutely perfect health testing. She weighs around 40 pounds, making her a wonderful mini/medium size. She is a stunning girl with a soft, wavy coat and the most vibrant tan points that have stayed rich and beautiful over time. Beyond her looks, Porsche is incredibly friendly and loves everyone she meets. She has such a gentle, sweet heart and has already proven herself to be a wonderful mama. She’s the perfect balance, athletic and playful when it’s time to run, but also calm and content just hanging out with her people. Isa is a beautiful Multigenerational Mini Bernedoodle weighing approximately 27 lbs. She has clear genetics and good health clearances. Isa is a very sweet, petite little girl with a stocky build and lovely conformation. Her perky ears and small, adorable head give her an especially charming expression. She has a gentle personality and absolutely loves being around people. Her guardian home truly adores having her as part of their family. Isa is tri-colored with stunning markings and a soft, wavy coat. With her loving temperament and adorable look, she is truly a special girl.

Ivy is the definition of a devoted and gentle Bernese Mountain Dog. Born June 1, 2022, she is a 70-pound beauty with OFA-certified elbows, heart, and patellas, and is genetically clear of all common breed disorders. She adores her people and enjoys lounging on the farm with her sister. In early 2025, she had her first Ultra Bernedoodle litter with Hammy, proving to be an amazing mother. Her puppies inherited her stunning markings and loving personality. Living in a guardian home, Sweetie gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She is a cherished part of our program, passing on exceptional health, temperament, and beauty to her puppies.

Nova is truly one of a kind and holds a special place in our hearts. Raised with love and care, she completed our rigorous training program before transitioning to her forever guardian home, where she’ll spend the rest of her days. Known for her gentle, calm demeanor, Nova is the embodiment of sweetness. She’s never hyperactive; instead, she’s content to be by your side, often snuggling in bed and soaking up all the love and attention she can get. She is one of the smaller girls in our program at 13Ibs. What truly sets Nova apart is her unwavering loyalty. Meet Linda 💛 Linda is a beautiful tricolored Bernedoodle mama, weighing in at around 30 pounds. She is the perfect combination of sweet temperament, strong genetics, and stunning classic Bernese markings. Linda comes from two of our favorite foundation dogs, Miss Hazel, our gorgeous Bernese Mountain Dog, and Tiger, a proven sire who is the father behind many of the incredible girls in our program. This pairing has produced some truly special dogs, and Linda is no exception. She is a full sibling to Robin, Sophia, and Eva, who are older sisters from the same Hazel and Tiger line. Linda has maintained her rich, bold tri-color points beautifully and has not faded at all, making her a standout both in appearance and structure. Personality-wise, Linda is as lovely as they come, she is gentle-natured, affectionate, and loves everyone she meets. She has a calm, sweet presence and fits seamlessly into family life. On the health side, Linda has an excellent foundation with a clear genetic panel, strong PennHIP results, and thorough health testing including elbows and more, giving us so much confidence as she enters motherhood. Moxie is a darling 16-pound Poodle with the sweetest little personality to match her adorable looks. She is such a fun, happy girl and brings so much joy to everyone around her. Moxie lives with her wonderful guardian family, who absolutely adore her. She has grown up alongside three little kiddos and is incredibly loving and gentle with them. Her patient, tender nature makes her a perfect fit in a family setting, and we love seeing how naturally kind and affectionate she is with children. She’s also an outgoing girl who loves to play outside. Whether she’s running around the yard or enjoying time with her people, Moxie has a bright, playful spirit that shines through in everything she does. Moxie has cleared her full genetic panel with the exception of carrying one copy of CDDY. This means her puppies can only ever be carriers and would not be affected, as long as she is not bred with another carrier, which is exactly why thorough genetic testing is so important in our program. We carefully match our parents to ensure we are producing healthy, well-planned litters. She has also, so far, passed all of her OFA health testing. Delta is one of our beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog females here at Down Home Doodle, and we absolutely adore her. She is on the smaller side for the breed, weighing around 65 pounds, and she brings the perfect combination of genetics, health, and personality to our program. Delta has OFA Good hips and has passed all of the health testing we’ve conducted on her. Her results are truly excellent, and we feel so confident in the strong foundation she offers for future generations. Beyond her health and structure, Delta’s temperament is what makes her so special. She is a sweet, gentle girl who is incredibly friendly and simply loves being with her people. Enzo is a handsome mini Bernedoodle boy, weighing in at around 23 pounds. He is the perfect small-sized gentleman with a big heart, a social personality, and the sweetest teddy bear look. Enzo comes from our beloved Mr. Nash, who he resembles so closely. Estes is one of our cherished mamas here at Down Home Doodle. She lives in a wonderful Guardian Home where she’s loved and spoiled by four darling kids, a pony, and some friendly chickens! Estes has exceptional genetics that we’re excited to continue in our program, and her sweet, gentle nature makes her a joy to be around!

Friday is truly one-of-a-kind, with coat intensity and colors that are out of this world. Weighing 32 pounds, he’s the perfect blend of size and substance. His disposition is soft-hearted, gentle, funny, and irresistibly sweet—making him an exciting addition to our breeding program. Friday lives in a loving Guardian Home, where he is absolutely adored and thought to be the sweetest little guy in the world. He follows his family everywhere and is most definitely a Velcro dog. Friday is fully health tested, including PennHIP clearances, OFA certifications, and a completely clear genetic panel. We feel so lucky to have him in our program and cannot wait to see the incredible puppies he produces.

Tesla is a beautifully bred multigenerational Bernedoodle, thoughtfully developed with intention and care from the very beginning—starting with a foundational Poodle × Bernese cross. Every generation behind Tesla was selected with genetics, health, color, and correct conformation in mind, and it truly shows. She has passed all of her health testing flawlessly, giving us tremendous confidence in her as a cornerstone of our program. One of Tesla’s most striking features is her deep rust-colored tan points—a rare and highly sought-after trait in Bernedoodles that is difficult to consistently produce and maintain. Beyond her exceptional genetics, Tesla is simply a joy to be around. She has a soft, gentle spirit, loves everyone she meets, and always seems to be smiling. Her Guardian Home adores her easygoing nature and especially enjoys spending quiet time just hanging out together. Meet Goldie! Goldie is a 13-pound poodle who has completed all of her breed-relevant health testing and carries a clear genetic panel, making her a wonderful part of our program. She is known for her sweet, easy-going, and mellow temperament, and she quickly becomes attached to her people, always wanting to be close by. Goldie loves children and fits seamlessly into family life, bringing calm and affection wherever she goes. As a mother, she is extremely caring and nurturing. We are very excited about this sweet girl.

Wendy is a remarkable Bernedoodle in our breeding program, sired by our own Tiger and Reba. At the start of Tiger's career, we held Wendy back to evaluate her growth and temperament, ensuring Tiger's suitability for our breeding efforts. We were truly impressed by Wendy's stunning beauty and her gentle, sweet nature. Wendy features ideal Bernedoodle markings, with her vibrant tan coat remaining bright and unfaded. Beyond her physical appearance, Wendy has been thoroughly tested for all genetic disorders common to her breed and is not effected by any, proving her excellent genetics. Wendy resides with a loving family near our Ohio location, where she is well cared for by her family and their young children. Her mix of visual charm, gentle disposition, and outstanding health makes her a treasured part of our breeding program and a beloved family companion.

These puppies are F1 Mini/Medium Bernedoodles, meaning they are genetically 50% Bernese Mountain Dog and 50% Poodle. They are expected to mature around 35–50 pounds, though with any mixed breed, size can naturally vary. They are expected to have minimal-to-non-fading tan points and soft, straight-to-wavy coats. These pups are also expected to shed very little to none.

Beth, our beloved AKC Registered Bernese Mountain Dog, plays a pivotal role in our breeding program. As the granddaughter of the esteemed AKC CHAMPION, Mr., and the daughter of our renowned MJ, she carries a prestigious lineage. Her mother, Princess, an AKC Bernese Mountain Dog, has earned an excellent rating for her hip from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. Beth boasts a sturdy build and the highly sought-after bear head feature. Her affectionate nature, love for belly scratches, and ever-present look of adoration make her a delight to be around. She loves to follow you and be pet. We are incredibly fortunate to have her as part of our breeding efforts. With genetic testing conducted by Animal Genetics, Beth is clear of common diseases in the Bernese breed. She resides in a guardian home, surrounded by some of her sisters and half-sisters, and is lovingly cared for by four small children.

Meet Sophia! We are so excited to introduce this girl into our program. She has been a much awaited prospect, and we are thrilled she checked all the boxes to be a mama at Down Home! The stunning girl is an F1 Mini Bernedoodle weighing at 38Ibs. She is a daughter of Hazel, also Eva’s mama. Her dad is Tiger, our main guy at Down Home who throws non-fading tan points. Sophia is genetically clear and has just the right testing to throw beautiful, non-fading, and hypoallergenic babies. Not only is she an absolute stunner, she has a very sweet laid back temperament as well. She is extremely gentle, smart, and cuddly.

Meet Nancy! This little lady is a delightful toy poodle and a cherished part of our program. At just 10 lbs, Nancy is small but stunning, with perfectly defined, non-fading tan points that give her a striking and elegant look. Her soft, shiny coat and vibrant tan markings truly make her stand out. Nancy’s gentle, calm disposition is one of her most endearing qualities. She’s a quiet, loving soul who enjoys relaxing by your side or having a peaceful play session. Her easygoing nature makes her a wonderful companion, and it’s no surprise she’s been such an incredible mom to her puppies. Though this is her first litter, Nancy has taken to motherhood with remarkable grace and care. Her nurturing instincts are exceptional, and she’s proven to be both attentive and loving with her tiny Micro Bernedoodle puppies. At 10 lbs, she’s the perfect size to produce these adorable pups, who are sure to inherit her sweet temperament and beautiful markings. Best of all, Nancy is genetically clear, meaning she’s not a carrier of any genetic disorders. Raine is a female Poodle. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Elyzza decided to make her part of their program. Elyzza has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Darla is our adorable Bernese Mountain Dog mama with the sweetest, most gentle soul. She weighs 89 pounds and, despite her size, is built in the cutest, stockiest way with short little legs and the most precious snout. She has a teddy-bear look that everyone falls in love with instantly. Her personality is just as wonderful as her looks. Darla is calm, quiet, and incredibly gentle. She is amazing with kids, loves going for walks, and is an absolute dream of a mama, so attentive, nurturing, and loving with her puppies. She truly takes her role seriously and is a joy to watch with her babies. Darla has completed all of her health testing, including genetic testing, OFA evaluations, and PennHIP. We are beyond excited to incorporate her into our program for her beautiful structure, sweet temperament, and excellent health. She is exactly the kind of Bernese girl we strive to build our program around. 🐾

In all our years of breeding, we have never encountered a Miniature Poodle with the intensity and striking features that Rooster possesses. Rooster has undergone comprehensive genetic testing and is clear of all diseases affecting his breed, including the rare conditions CDDY and CDPA, which are particularly hard to find in Miniature Poodles. Meet Pumpkin, a cherished member of our breeding program! This multigenerational Bernedoodle weighs a 40lbs and showcases a rare chocolate merle coat with a captivating blue eye. Pumpkin, the offspring of Smiley and Sailor, not only inherits their sweet disposition but also has been genetically tested and cleared of any common diseases in the breed. This assurance adds to her charm, making her a joy to be around. She loves being your faithful companion, sticking by your side wherever you go. Pumpkin resides in a guardian home near our Ohio location, where she is adored by four wonderful kids who simply love her. With Pumpkin's gentle nature, loving presence, and clean bill of health, she brings a special touch to our breeding program.

Elaine is a very special part of our program and carries on the beautiful legacy of her beloved mom, Hazel, who has been an important foundation girl in our program for many years. We are so proud to continue Hazel’s exceptional genetics through Elaine and her sister, Linda—both girls we intentionally held back because of their outstanding qualities. Elaine has rich, deep rust tan points and the sweetest, most gentle-hearted disposition you could ask for. She is calm, loving, and deeply people-oriented, with a soft nature that shines through in everything she does. She has passed all of her health testing with flying colors and has already proven herself to be an excellent, attentive mom. This adorable 14-pound bundle of joy is a gorgeous Merle Tri Poodle with a stunning coat that showcases a beautiful mix of colors, from white to soft grays to rich browns. Not only does she turn heads with her striking appearance, but she also produces the most gorgeous, healthy puppies that inherit her fabulous traits. Maybelline has a personality as delightful as her looks. She’s incredibly friendly and social, making her the perfect companion to everyone she meets. Whether it's a family member, a stranger, or even other pets, she greets everyone with a wagging tail and a sweet disposition. Her confident, outgoing nature ensures she’s never shy or reserved, always eager to share her love and affection. With the perfect balance of smarts, energy, and calmness, she’s a true gem and a wonderful addition to our program.

Meet Striker! This handsome little stud muffin is a proud and beloved part of our program. Striker weighs about 13 pounds, and he is every bit as cute as he looks. He has the sweetest, friendliest personality, always the first one to greet you and soak up attention. He’s an easy-going, goofy boy. We are especially excited about his puppies because of the intensity he consistently produces, very similar to our well-known stud Mr. Tiger, who was a staple in our program for years. Striker throws vibrant tan points, rich coloring, and very minimal to no-fading. His puppies have super soft, luscious coats with beautiful, well-furnished faces. Striker is fully health tested, including genetic testing, PennHIP, OFA heart, elbows, shoulders..ect and he is AKC registered. He is in excellent health and passes those strong genetic traits to his puppies. We absolutely adore this boy, his personality, his coloring, his structure, and the quality he brings to our litters. We are so excited for everything he will continue to contribute to our program!

Kassie is our AKC Registered Bernese Mountain Dog with an impressive champion lineage and a heartwarming temperament. Born from our own esteemed MJ who is son to our own AKC Champion Mr. and his mother Princess, who boast full genetic and OFA health clearances. Kassie inherits a strong foundation of health and vitality. With her striking confirmation and gentle nature, Kassie embodies the epitome of the Bernese Mountain Dog breed. With her genetic clarity and remarkable lineage, Kassie truly stands as a shining example of the breed's finest qualities and we are delighted to have her in our breeding program. Kassie resides in a guardian home just a couple miles away from our Ohio home. Her family has 4 small children under the age of 11 years old who enjoy helping take care of her.

Meet Butterfly, our multigenerational Bernedoodle with roots two generations back in our breeding lines. Genetically clear of common breed diseases, Butterfly possesses unique coat and color traits that we are excited to introduce. True to her name, she is a friendly and affectionate soul, known for her sociable nature and love for people. Living in a guardian home just a short distance away, Butterfly is adored by a family of four children who cherish her deeply. Surrounded by the love and playful energy of her young human companions, Butterfly thrives in her role as a beloved family pet, reflecting the gentle and loving qualities that make her a valued member of our breeding program.

Jovie is a beautiful miniature Poodle with an exceptional temperament and outstanding health credentials. She has passed all of her health testing with excellent scores, including evaluations of her face, hips, elbows, shoulders, patellas, and heart. Jovie has also completed her OFA/PennHIP testing and comprehensive genetic testing, giving us great confidence in her structure, longevity, and overall well-being. Beyond her impressive health clearances, Jovie is a truly wonderful mother. She is incredibly attentive, nurturing, and devoted to her puppies, which is exactly the temperament we strive to preserve in our breeding program. Jovie lives in a loving Guardian Home located near us in Dundee, Ohio, allowing her to enjoy a normal family life while remaining closely connected to our program. She is a perfect example of the balance we value at Down Home Doodle—excellent health, beautiful structure, and a heart-of-gold temperament.

Meet Buttercup! Buttercup is a 50-pound Ultra Bernedoodle and a standout member of our breeding program. She is the daughter of Sammie and Mika, with Mika being a son of Sailor, one of the very first bernedoodles introduced into our lines for Ultras. Buttercup carries on this remarkable lineage. Her vibrant coat, striking blue eyes, and minimal-to-no shedding make her a true showstopper and a frequent favorite among visitors. Genetically, Buttercup is as sound as she is beautiful. She boasts a completely clear health panel, ideal coat and color genetics, and is an exceptional representation of what we aim to produce in our program. We are particularly excited to utilize Buttercup in our efforts to increase Bernese Mountain Dog influence in future multigenerational Bernedoodles, while maintaining the hypoallergenic and low-shedding qualities that families love. Beyond her structure and genetics, Buttercup is a gentle, easygoing companion with a calm, affectionate nature. Her temperament reflects the best qualities of both her parents, and we are confident that she will pass on those traits to her puppies.

Juliet is one of the treasured moms in our Micro Bernedoodle program—a striking Merle tricolor with a gentle and affectionate nature. She was carefully selected for her exceptional genetics, ideal petite size, and calm temperament. Weighing approximately 15 pounds, Juliet is a quiet, well-mannered girl. She is not vocal or overly energetic, making her a peaceful presence in her guardian families home. Juliet truly loves being a mom—she is deeply nurturing and attentive with her puppies, always ensuring they feel safe and loved. Juliet is a wonderful example of the temperament and health we strive for in our program.
