Down Home Doodle

Celeste is a female Bernedoodle over 1 year old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Elyzza decided to make her part of their program. Elyzza has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Makaw is one of the special sires in our multigenerational Bernedoodle program. He was carefully selected for his exceptional genetics, beautiful silky straight-to-soft wavy coat, rich coloring, and the calm, affectionate temperament we strive for in our dogs. Makaw comes from thoughtfully planned bloodlines and has passed along so many of the qualities we love to see in our puppies, including beautiful structure, easygoing temperaments, and low to non-shedding coats. He has such a gentle, sweet personality and has been a wonderful addition to our program. Makaw has completed extensive health testing, including comprehensive genetic testing, and is clear of all tested genetic diseases. He also has OFA clearances for his hips, elbows, patellas, and dentition. His excellent health testing, beautiful genetics, and wonderful temperament make him a very valued part of the Down Home Doodle breeding program.

Mingo is a striking multigenerational Bernedoodle with brilliant blue eyes and rich, intense tan points that immediately capture your attention. Thoughtfully bred from health-tested parents, Mingo is genetically designed to produce beautiful straight to soft wavy, low-shedding coats. He has a calm, gentle, and easygoing personality, learns quickly, and has been a joy to train. Mingo has completed comprehensive genetic health testing and is clear of all tested genetic diseases. He currently has OFA clearances for hips, elbows, and dentition, along with his PennHIP evaluation, and he will complete additional recommended health testing as he reaches the appropriate age. His exceptional genetics, outstanding temperament, and beautiful structure make him a valued part of the Down Home Doodle breeding program.

Meet Winston, our absolutely adorable Micro Bernedoodle stud. Winston has the sweetest teddy bear face, the cutest little ears, and the softest coat that gives him such a beautiful, classic look. Beyond his looks, we’re especially excited about what Winston brings genetically. He carries genetics to throw gorgeous straight-to-wavy coats on his pups, and so far, he has passed all of his health testing with strong results. We’re incredibly pleased with how he is developing and excited about the qualities he has to pass along to his future puppies. Personality-wise, Winston is such a happy, outgoing boy. He loves playing with other dogs, going on walks, and being involved in whatever is going on around him. He has a fun, social personality while still having a really nice off switch and knowing how to settle and relax. Winston is such a special little guy, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for him.

Mojito is an exciting addition to our multigenerational Bernedoodle program. At just 23 pounds, he comes from four generations of thoughtfully bred Down Home Doodle lines built on beautiful, health-tested genetics. He has a soft, silky, straight-to-wavy coat, beautiful structure, and the sweetest personality. Mojito is incredibly attentive and has what we lovingly call a “smooth-talker” personality—he is charming, affectionate, and has a way of winning everyone over. We are especially excited about Mojito’s genetics and the future he represents for our program. He has passed all of his age-appropriate health testing, including his hip evaluations, with results we are very pleased with. As he reaches the appropriate age, he will continue his testing and complete his final OFA evaluations. With his petite size, beautiful coat, wonderful temperament, and promising health results, we are so excited to see the puppies Mojito produces.

Minnie is one of our medium poodles in our program. She is Goofy and Dolly’s baby. You may recognize these names from our past litters. Both Dolly and Goofy have been a huge foundation in our program. They have amazing genetics, and personalities. Miss Minnie is a beautiful combination of the two. She is sweet, loves everyone, and is super calm for a poodle. She is athletic and likes to play but also just happy to hang out and lay next to you. She’s an amazing mama and loves her puppies.

Meet Linda 💛 Linda is a beautiful tricolored Bernedoodle mama, weighing in at around 30 pounds. She is the perfect combination of sweet temperament, strong genetics, and stunning classic Bernese markings. Linda comes from two of our favorite foundation dogs, Miss Hazel, our gorgeous Bernese Mountain Dog, and Tiger, a proven sire who is the father behind many of the incredible girls in our program. This pairing has produced some truly special dogs, and Linda is no exception. She is a full sibling to Robin, Sophia, and Eva, who are older sisters from the same Hazel and Tiger line. Linda has maintained her rich, bold tri-color points beautifully and has not faded at all, making her a standout both in appearance and structure. Personality-wise, Linda is as lovely as they come, she is gentle-natured, affectionate, and loves everyone she meets. She has a calm, sweet presence and fits seamlessly into family life. On the health side, Linda has an excellent foundation with a clear genetic panel, strong PennHIP results, and thorough health testing including elbows and more, giving us so much confidence as she enters motherhood. Meet Jolly, our delightful brown and white Poodle, known for her exceptional genetics from genetically clear parentage. Weighing around 12 lbs, Jolly is the perfect blend of sweetness, friendliness, and calmness. She absolutely adores children and gets along beautifully with other dogs, making her a wonderful family companion. As a loving and attentive mama, Jolly is already showing her puppies the importance of good manners and how to bond with people. Her gentle nature and nurturing instincts make her a standout in our breeding program.

Oakley is an esteemed member of our breeding program, weighing a petite 10 pounds. As an AKC registered Mini Poodle, she embodies the finest traits of her breed. With her sweet, soft eyes and love for snuggling by the fire, Oakley is a joy to be around, offering both companionship and comfort. Raised and trained in our home, Oakley now lives with a devoted puppy-raising family alongside her sister, Annie. She is adored by four loving kids who provide her with endless affection and attention. Oakley has a clear genetic panel and holds certifications from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, ensuring her excellent health. She is free from CDPA and CDDY, common genetic disorders in Miniature Poodles. Her robust health and gentle disposition make her an outstanding mom in our program, contributing to the exceptional quality and temperament of her puppies.

We are thrilled to introduce Posie, a delightful addition to our breeding program. Intentionally bred in our program for her small size, vibrant and non-fading colors, and her exceptionally sweet disposition, Posie embodies the qualities we strive for in our Mini Bernedoodles. Posie has undergone comprehensive genetic testing and is clear of all diseases that could affect her breed. Her hip evaluations, conducted by PennHip, reveal no radiographic evidence of osteoarthritis, and she has received certification from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals for her patellas and heart health. She lives in a loving guardian home near our Ohio home. Posie thrives on a spacious farm where she enjoys the company of children. Juliet is one of the treasured moms in our Micro Bernedoodle program—a striking Merle tricolor with a gentle and affectionate nature. She was carefully selected for her exceptional genetics, ideal petite size, and calm temperament. Weighing approximately 15 pounds, Juliet is a quiet, well-mannered girl. She is not vocal or overly energetic, making her a peaceful presence in her guardian families home. Juliet truly loves being a mom—she is deeply nurturing and attentive with her puppies, always ensuring they feel safe and loved. Juliet is a wonderful example of the temperament and health we strive for in our program.

Porsche is a truly special girl here at Down Home Doodle, and we are so excited to share her with you. She is from Wendy (Tiger’s daughter) and George, two names that are very recognizable in our program, as we have kept back several of their puppies to continue their incredible legacy. Both Wendy and George are known for producing outstanding temperaments, gorgeous coats, and exceptional health testing, and Porsche is no exception. Porsche is completely cleared genetically, has OFA GOOD hips, and overall has absolutely perfect health testing. She weighs around 40 pounds, making her a wonderful mini/medium size. She is a stunning girl with a soft, wavy coat and the most vibrant tan points that have stayed rich and beautiful over time. Beyond her looks, Porsche is incredibly friendly and loves everyone she meets. She has such a gentle, sweet heart and has already proven herself to be a wonderful mama. She’s the perfect balance, athletic and playful when it’s time to run, but also calm and content just hanging out with her people. Porsche truly brings health, color, temperament, and strong foundational lines to the table, and we are so proud to have her as part of our program

Mayzie is one of our beloved Bernedoodle moms and a proud continuation of one of our favorite lines. She weighs in at 47Ibs. She’s the daughter of Lacey, a gentle, tender-hearted girl who comes from Princess, our Bernese Mountain Dog with excellent hips. Lacey’s lineage traces back to Patches, one of our very first poodle studs, making Mayzie’s genetics a true cornerstone of our program. Her father, Max, is now retired from our program but was well known for producing ultra Bernedoodles puppies with gorgeous tan points, teddy-bear faces, and loving, people-oriented temperaments. Mayzie lives with a wonderful guardian family who absolutely adores her. She is fantastic with children, incredibly gentle, and has a calm, easy-going personality. She’s not a barker, loves being around her people, and is a nurturing, devoted mama to her puppies. She has been genetically tested and is not affected by any disorders. She carries one copy of DM, but her puppies will never be affected, only possible carriers. Mayzie has completed all of her OFA and PennHIP testing for hips, patellas, elbows, and cardiac health, passing each with flying colors. We are proud to have Mayzie as part of our program, she perfectly represents the heart, health, and temperament we strive to preserve in every generation of our Down Home Doodles.

Meet Honey! She’s an adorable, one-of-a-kind toy poodle, weighing around 13 lbs, making her the perfect bundle of cuteness. Her soft, curly coat and expressive eyes give her that classic poodle charm, but it’s her personality that really shines. Honey is incredibly sweet, always eager for cuddles and affection, but she’s also full of energy and playfulness. Whether she’s chasing after her favorite toy or showing off her agility, she’s always ready for fun! Not only is she smart—learning new tricks in no time—but she’s also genetically clear, meaning she’s not a carrier of any genetic disorders. Her excellent health and clear genetic panel ensure she’s as strong as she is sweet. Honey is also an attentive and loving mom, with amazing nurturing instincts. Angie is a remarkable Ultra Bernedoodle, fathered by our own Depp, who is a son of Sailor. This lineage places Angie within three generations of our dedicated breeding program, reflecting our commitment to excellence in breed standards and health. Angie has undergone comprehensive genetic testing and is clear of all diseases common in her breed, ensuring she contributes positively to our program. Known for her affectionate nature, Angie thrives on human interaction and enjoys the attention of anyone willing to give it. Raised and trained by our dedicated team, Angie now resides in a loving puppy-raising home. She is cared for by four small children and two attentive adults who prioritize her happiness and well-being. Meet Piper! Piper is a micro Bernedoodle female sired by Nash. She is a beautiful, sweet girl with a soft, wavy coat that gives her that classic teddy bear look. Piper has a fun, playful personality and is very outgoing, she loves toys, enjoys staying busy, and thrives on interaction. She is truly a people dog and loves being close to her family, always eager for attention and affection. Piper has passed all of her health testing, including OFA-certified good hips. She is only a carrier for PRCA, meaning she will not be affected, and neither will her pups. She is one of our smallest Bernedoodles, weighing only about 20 pounds, making her the perfectly compact.

Meet Pumpkin, a cherished member of our breeding program! This multigenerational Bernedoodle weighs a 40lbs and showcases a rare chocolate merle coat with a captivating blue eye. Pumpkin, the offspring of Smiley and Sailor, not only inherits their sweet disposition but also has been genetically tested and cleared of any common diseases in the breed. Moxie is a darling 16-pound Poodle with the sweetest little personality to match her adorable looks. She is such a fun, happy girl and brings so much joy to everyone around her. Moxie lives with her wonderful guardian family, who absolutely adore her. She has grown up alongside three little kiddos and is incredibly loving and gentle with them. Her patient, tender nature makes her a perfect fit in a family setting, and we love seeing how naturally kind and affectionate she is with children. She’s also an outgoing girl who loves to play outside. Whether she’s running around the yard or enjoying time with her people, Moxie has a bright, playful spirit that shines through in everything she does. Moxie has cleared her full genetic panel with the exception of carrying one copy of CDDY. This means her puppies can only ever be carriers and would not be affected, as long as she is not bred with another carrier, which is exactly why thorough genetic testing is so important in our program. We carefully match our parents to ensure we are producing healthy, well-planned litters. She has also, so far, passed all of her OFA health testing. Cloud is an intentionally bred 22-pound multigenerational Bernedoodle developed specifically for our Mini Bernedoodle program. He comes from some of our strongest bloodlines, selected for their rich, non-fading tan points, exceptional structure, and calm, affectionate temperaments. Cloud does not carry the shedding gene, allowing him to consistently produce puppies with beautiful straight to wavy, low-shedding coats. His gentle, easygoing personality makes him a wonderful companion, and he adores the young girls in his guardian family. Cloud has completed comprehensive genetic health testing and is clear of all tested genetic diseases. He has also earned passing OFA evaluations for hips, elbows, shoulders, cardiac, patellas, and dentition, along with his PennHIP evaluation, giving us complete confidence in the healthy foundation he passes on to his puppies. Evelyn is a very special girl at Down Home Doodle, and we’re thrilled to have her in our program. She comes from two of our most important bloodlines, as the daughter of Luna (a daughter of the legendary Mr. Tiger) and Mr. George, both of whom have helped shape our breeding program. Evelyn is a stunning chocolate tricolor, an extremely rare and highly sought-after color in the Bernedoodle world. We’re especially excited about the beautiful chocolate genetics she brings to future generations. She has completed all of her health testing, including hips, heart, and a full genetic panel, with excellent results that we proudly share. At around 35 pounds, Evelyn has a sturdy, well-balanced build and the sweetest expression. She loves playing ball, running with the other dogs, and spending time outdoors, but she also has a wonderful off switch and enjoys relaxing with her people. Her playful, confident, affectionate, and easygoing temperament perfectly reflects what we strive for in our program.

Meet Sophia! We are so excited to introduce this girl into our program. She has been a much awaited prospect, and we are thrilled she checked all the boxes to be a mama at Down Home! The stunning girl is an F1 Mini Bernedoodle weighing at 38Ibs. She is a daughter of Hazel, also Eva’s mama. Her dad is Tiger, our main guy at Down Home who throws non-fading tan points. Sophia is genetically clear and has just the right testing to throw beautiful, non-fading, and hypoallergenic babies. Not only is she an absolute stunner, she has a very sweet laid back temperament as well. She is extremely gentle, smart, and cuddly.

Ms. Nora, the long-awaited star of our breeding program! Nora is an F1 Mini Bernedoodle Mama who embodies everything we've been searching for for our program. With her striking non-fading tan points and a beautiful wavy coat that's both easy to care for and non-shedding, Nora is the epitome of beauty and practicality. Her excellent structure is a testament to her breed, ensuring that each of her offspring inherits her impeccable form. Amethyst is a striking chocolate merle multigenerational Mini Bernedoodle weighing approximately 28 pounds. Amethyst is the daughter of Ruby, one of the foundation females in our program. Mr. Tweety is one of our gorgeous up-and-coming dads here in Down Home Doodle, and he truly represents everything we love and strive for in our lines. Tweety comes from some of our absolute favorite bloodlines. His mom is Luna, who many of you will recognize and love for her beautiful build and stunning coloring. Luna is a daughter of Mr. Tiger, a cornerstone in our program whose lines many of our dogs stem from. Mr. Tiger is especially known for producing puppies with minimal fading, rich tan points, and wonderfully gentle, trainable, easy-going temperaments, and Luna is a perfect example of those traits. Tweety’s dad is Mr. Eli, another incredible producer in our program who has sired many of our litters and is known for passing on fantastic qualities, health, structure, and temperament. We are so excited about this boy and can’t wait to share more of him and his future puppies with you. Nash's journey to our breeding program was serendipitous. Discovered accidentally through genetic testing, it quickly became clear that Nash was the perfect fit for our micro Bernedoodle breeding. His tiny size and ideal coat traits make him indispensable for creating the adorable tiny teddy bear Bernedoodles that our clients adore. Nash has undergone extensive genetic testing and is free from any of the common diseases that affect his breed. His health and well-being are of utmost importance, and we have had his hips evaluated by PennHIP. Additionally, he holds several Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) certificates, with more health evaluations planned as he matures. Mr. Hammy, our exceptional Multigenerational Mini Bernedoodle weighing 32lbs. Chosen for his rare non-fading tan points, impeccable genetic testing results, and ideal coat type for breeding Multigenerational and Ultra Bernedoodles, Hammy is a standout in every way. Meet Striker! This handsome little stud muffin is a proud and beloved part of our program. Striker weighs about 13 pounds, and he is every bit as cute as he looks. He has the sweetest, friendliest personality, always the first one to greet you and soak up attention. He’s an easy-going, goofy boy. We are especially excited about his puppies because of the intensity he consistently produces, very similar to our well-known stud Mr. Tiger, who was a staple in our program for years. Striker throws vibrant tan points, rich coloring, and very minimal to no-fading. His puppies have super soft, luscious coats with beautiful, well-furnished faces. Striker is fully health tested, including genetic testing, PennHIP, OFA heart, elbows, shoulders..ect and he is AKC registered. He is in excellent health and passes those strong genetic traits to his puppies. We absolutely adore this boy, his personality, his coloring, his structure, and the quality he brings to our litters. We are so excited for everything he will continue to contribute to our program!

Friday is truly one-of-a-kind, with coat intensity and colors that are out of this world. Weighing 32 pounds, he’s the perfect blend of size and substance. His disposition is soft-hearted, gentle, funny, and irresistibly sweet—making him an exciting addition to our breeding program. Friday lives in a loving Guardian Home, where he is absolutely adored and thought to be the sweetest little guy in the world. He follows his family everywhere and is most definitely a Velcro dog. Friday is fully health tested, including PennHIP clearances, OFA certifications, and a completely clear genetic panel. We feel so lucky to have him in our program and cannot wait to see the incredible puppies he produces.

Meet Mitzy, one of our beloved Bernedoodles and a daughter of Majesty, who’s well known for producing puppies with those vibrant tan points everyone loves. Mitzy weighs in at around 49 pounds and, as an F1 Bernedoodle, she’s a perfect 50/50 mix of Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle. This sweet girl is the friendliest dog you’ll ever meet and is always the first to greet you with her tail wagging. She loves people, has a goofy and affectionate personality, and brings joy wherever she goes. Mitzy is also a devoted and nurturing mom, patient, gentle, and attentive with her puppies. Her lineage includes impressive genetics as well. Her grandsire, Mr. Moose, was an AKC Champion at just 11 months old. He was a stunning Bernese Mountain Dog with incredible personality, abundant coat, outstanding structure, and excellent health. Mitzy has a clear genetic panel and continues to pass on her wonderful temperament, structure, and beautiful coloration to her litters.

Feather, a cherished Ultra Bernedoodle proudly bred here with our Down Home Doodle team. Feather comes from a carefully curated lineage, known for strong health, gentle temperaments, and the timeless, non-fading Bernedoodle markings everyone loves. She enjoys life with her sister, Colly, in a nearby guardian home, where a wonderful couple provides them with endless love on their beautiful farm, surrounded by lush gardens and open spaces to roam. We are genuinely excited to welcome Feather to our breeding program and look forward to the exceptional qualities she’ll bring to future generations of Down Home Doodles.

Tundra is one of our handsome, charming poodle studs. He has completed all of his health testing with flying colors, including a clear genetic panel and good evaluations through OFA and PennHIP for hips, shoulders, patellas, dental, and heart. Tundra has a beautiful build and produces stunning puppies with amazing color and structure. We plan to use his genetics in our upcoming F1B Bernedoodle program, and we’re excited to see his influence carry through in both looks and temperament. Beyond his good looks, Tundra is a genuinely sweet and loving boy. He enjoys being around people, soaking up attention, and just hanging out wherever you are. He has an easygoing personality that makes him not only a wonderful stud but also an absolute joy to have as part of our crew.

Walker is our beautiful micro Bernedoodle stud and the one and only son of Nash. He inherited so many of the features we love most from his dad, including his short teddy bear nose, stocky build, and adorable compact structure. Walker weighs around 23 pounds and has a very sturdy, compact frame while still keeping that soft, cuddly Bernedoodle look. Personality wise, he is incredibly sweet, gentle, and easygoing with everyone he meets. He has such a calm and loving temperament and truly enjoys being around people. He has passed all of his health testing including OFA hips, a fully cleared genetic panel, and additional health clearances, making him a very exciting addition to our program. One thing we especially love about Walker is that he carries the chocolate gene, which means he has the potential to produce more chocolate puppies in future generations. 🍫🐶

Meet Colly, a beloved Ultra Medium Bernedoodle born right here with our Down Home Doodle team. Colly hails from an exceptional line known for robust health, gentle dispositions, and those classic, non-fading Bernedoodle markings that everyone treasures. She lives alongside her sister, Feather, in a nearby guardian home where a caring couple surrounds them with love on their scenic farm, rich with gardens and open spaces. Colly is super sweet and loves people. She’s also very trainable and trustworthy off leash.

Ranger holds a very special place in our program and plays an important role in the continued success of our lines. He comes from carefully selected generations that were bred with intention, purpose, and a long-term vision—prioritizing temperament, structure, and overall balance above all else. Ranger is the kind of dog that instantly puts you at ease. He carries himself with a steady, calm presence and has a naturally gentle disposition that makes him wonderful to live with. He is affectionate without being demanding, intuitive with people, and consistently easygoing in every environment. His relaxed nature and emotional steadiness are traits we deeply value and work hard to preserve. He has completed all recommended health testing with excellent results, giving us full confidence in his role within our program. Ranger lives in a loving Guardian Home near our Ohio location, where he is cherished not only for his breeding potential, but for the loyal, comforting companion he is every single day. We also have several upcoming girls in our program that we are incredibly excited to pair with Ranger. June is a delightful 32lb Mini Bernedoodle and a proud 3rd generation member of our breeding program at Down Home. Raised and trained by us, June has grown into a smart, affectionate dog who thrives on attention and loves anyone willing to give it to her. She now lives close to our home with a wonderful family on a ranch, surrounded by four children, horses, and sheep, where she is adored and well cared for. June is genetically clear of all diseases common in her breed, ensuring her puppies inherit the best possible health. Rihanna is a beautiful F1 Mini Bernedoodle and one of the foundation females in our breeding program. As the daughter of our beloved Tiger and Serena, we chose to keep her to evaluate the exceptional traits Tiger was passing on to future generations. Rihanna quickly exceeded every expectation with her calm, affectionate temperament, beautiful structure, and rich tan points that have remained vibrant throughout her life. Rihanna has completed comprehensive genetic health testing along with her OFA and PennHIP evaluations, giving us confidence in the healthy foundation she passes on to her puppies. She lives with a wonderful guardian family near our Ohio location, where she is adored by both adults and young children.
