The people at Down Home Doodle were all amazing. We love our little Lucy! She’s such a good girl and along with that, she’s super healthy! Highly recommend.

We did a ton of research on Bernedoodle breeders long before deciding to engage Down Home Doodles. Their genetic testing approach, puppy socialization strategy, and obvious love of their puppies is what attracted us. After working with Elyzza, Emily and Samantha it was really refreshing to learn they exceed their marketing. Very communicative and everything they committed to was delivered as promised. However, the best thing out of it all is the new member of our family. Harley (formerly Spritza) is bright, well tempered, and full of love and kisses. She’s stop traffic cute and winning the hearts of my neighborhood. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you Down Home Doodles!!

Elyssa is a wonderful breeder! Bodhi is healthy and growing ( already 20 lbs!). She took good care of him while we were away. She gave us a lot of useful information and our vet feels he is very healthy. Definitely recommend Down Home Doodles!

We found Down Home Doodles through Good Dog and could not be happier! It's been a while since we worked with a breeder and the process has changed a lot over the years. So much information online and so many choices! Finding a reputable and trustworthy breeder was important to us and we found this with DHD. Elyzza and Emily at DHD helped guide us to the right puppy for us and made us comfortable with the process. Communication was always quick and they kept us updated on Rooney until pick-up day. The go home information from DHD was thorough, easy to understand and set us up for success (and Rooney)! It's obvious that our puppy was loved while he was waiting to come to his Furever Home. When we described DHD to our vet, they were equally as impressed! There are a lot of people trying to make a quick dollar out there and scamming people (especially with the holidays around the corner). Down Home Doodle is legitimate, trustworthy, flexible and so easy to work with! We recommend DHD to anyone looking for healthy pup!

I got my little baby Lucy, from Down Home Doodles and couldn’t be happier. The whole experience was smooth, friendly, and thorough. Lucy came home healthy, super social, and with such a sweet personality. You can tell that she was raised with a lot of love and attention. The breeder kept me updated along the way, answered every question, and made the whole process easy. They give you access to a lot of information about your pup that's super helpful as well as making themselves available for any other questions or help you might need. They gave me all the confidence in the world in going with them. If you’re looking for a happy, well-adjusted pup from people who truly do it right, I’d 100% recommend Down Home Doodles. Lucy’s been the best addition to my family. Thank you!!

We had a very good experience with Elyzza and Down Home Doodles. Easy to communicate with, sent all the info we needed prior to pick up, and we have a great puppy now. They did basic training with him before we brought the puppy home but even at 15 weeks we get so many compliments on how well behaved he is and he is doing great with adjusting our lifestyle and potty training.
