I'm Luis & Cindy P., the breeder behind Downtown Doodles & Frenchies located in Riverside, CA. Our pets are breed for good health and temperament we focus on structure and behavior above everything else.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We understand the very important role that breeders undertake; that being today’s breeders are the guardians of the future of the French Bulldog/sheepadoodle. We wanted to put my passion to good use. Breeding healthy, happy puppies is our way to give back to the breed. We want nothing more than to see each of our dogs and puppies shine.

  • What makes your program special?

    We take every precaution to ensure that we are breeding responsibly. Our dogs are genetically tested and we observe the compatibility between the parents prior to breeding. We look to better the breed overall, and we do everything we can to ensure the puppies have everything they need to develop into healthy and happy dogs. In our breeding program, good health and temperament are essential.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Sheepadoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Sheepadoodle puppies include brown and white, fawn and white, blue gray and white, and black and white. French Bulldog puppies include blue and blue fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Luis & Cindy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Luis & Cindy partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $750 refundable deposit and between $2,750 - $3,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    I highly recommend Luis if you're looking for a Sheepadoodle! He cares for these little pups and it shows. I brought my Milo (Bearclaw) to the vet for the first time and he is 100% healthy! Milo is the goofiest, good boy! He is so calm, but can get playful if you use the right toys. He is smart -- he learned the sit command in a day. He is also resilient to loud sounds. The family can converse really loud, play music, etc. and he'd still be asleep.

    Luis and Cindy are such caring and compassionate breeders. From the moment I saw their puppies I knew that this was the right family for me. Dolly and Mick are such amazing dog parents and all of the puppies were just perfect. It truly was hard to pick one. I knew we wanted a girl that would settle in nicely with our male terrier and female maltipoo mix. The videos that Luis posted helped me understand all of the different personalities and when I saw “Cupcake” aka “Daisy’s” calm confident temperament I knew she was our girl. She is so easygoing around my dogs, I know it will just be a matter of time before she settles in. When I picked her up Luis and Cindy we so helpful and knowledgeable about her food and nutritional needs. Cindy is very thorough about what doodles need both for their diet as well as their coat, and is incredibly knowledgeable. I’m sure I will be asking her advice for many years to come! After checking with mom Dolly to assure her that I would take good care of her puppy, Daisy and I headed home. The rain storm that I had driven up in was finally over and instead a rainbow 🌈 lit up the sky. I told Luis it was a good sign, and that it was clearly meant to be that Daisy was now a part of our family! I cannot thank Luis and Cindy enough for their support and knowledge of the breed, as well as their love and dedication. I’m so grateful to be a part of their extended family!!!

    I cannot say enough great things about Luis and Cindy. We love our little girl, Lucy, and can tell she came from a very loving environment. Thru the whole process Luis and Cindy were there answering questions, providng information on nutritrion, etc. I especially loved the Facetime call and getting to see Lucy's Mom and Dad. You can tell they are loved, happy and cared for as well. Both Luis and Cindy have kept the door open to call them with any questions anytime. I would without hesitation recommend them!!! I am so thankful I found our new girl thru them!

    Luis and Cindy were amazing to work with. We had never used Good Dog before and Luis and Cindy made the process very comfortable and seamless. When we looked at scout, we got to see his parents and how well they were taken care of as well as his litter mates.     10 out 5! Luis and Cindy are one of a kind when it comes to their dogs. They aren’t pushy, but they are very knowledgeable about their pups, nutrition etc. Very accommodating, answered all questions, sent so many videos, took calls and continued to check in. Anyone looking for a doodle or frenchie should work with them. So thankful for our little pup!
