I'm Vivian L., the breeder behind Duarte Pups located in Duarte, CA. Our Corgis are part of our family and our puppies are raised in our home with daily love and hands-on care. We focus on health, temperament, early socialization, potty and crate foundations, and preparing each puppy for family life. Our parent dogs are genetically health tested. ❤️🐾.

Why did you start breeding?
Our journey started with our love for Panda and Boba and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi breed. We wanted to raise puppies in the same loving home environment our own dogs enjoy. After our first litter, seeing our puppies become loved members of their new families made the experience incredibly rewarding and inspired us to continue improving how we raise and prepare each litter.What makes your program special?
Our puppies are raised inside our home with daily hands-on care and socialization. We begin potty foundations around 3 weeks and introduce age-appropriate crate routines, grooming, household sounds, toys and new experiences. Panda and Boba are genetically health tested for DM, EIC and vWD1. Our goal is a healthy, confident puppy prepared for everyday family life. ❤️Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Vivian
Vivian has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Vivian partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“We want each puppy to find the right family. Buyers may choose the puppy they’re interested in, and we’re happy to discuss each puppy’s personality and temperament to help determine the best fit. Once a family is approved and selects their puppy, a deposit secures that puppy for them.”
Price
“Price includes vet check, age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, early socialization, potty and crate foundations, and a puppy starter pack. Parent genetic health testing available. A $500 deposit reserves your selected puppy and is applied toward the total purchase price. The remaining balance is due at pickup.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. He is highly treat-motivated, biddable, and has always been easy to train. Panda is well trained and gets along well with most other dogs. His affectionate personality, intelligence, and eagerness to please make him a wonderful family companion. 🐾

Boba is our sassy, smart, and wonderfully independent girl. ❤️ She definitely knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to show off her stubborn side! 😂 She loves having a good bone to chew on and is perfectly happy doing her own thing, but when she’s ready for affection, one of her favorite places is cuddled up with Mom. Boba has a confident personality with the perfect combination of independence, intelligence, sass, and sweetness. 🐾❤️

von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), von Willebrand Disease III (vWD III), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
