I'm Logan P., the breeder behind Eastern Mountain Danes & Rottweilers located in Hermon, ME. All of our dogs are raised in our home alongside our family. We breed both traditional and non-traditional colors, however, all breeding dogs are selected for structure, personality, and health.
Q. & A. with Logan
Why did you start breeding?
I grew up around breeding, and then about 6 years ago decided to start my own program.
What makes your program special?
All of our breeding dogs are health tested through OFA/PenHipp and genetic testing through Embark. Our puppies are raised with children, other pets, and are exposed to many different things. All of our puppies come pre-loved and pre-spoiled!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Great Dane puppies include silver, mantle merle, chocolate and white, blue and white, black and white, chocolate, fawn, blue, harlequin, mantle, merle, and black. Rottweiler puppies are black and mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Eastern Mountain Danes and Rottweilers were super friendly, very knowledgeable, and most importantly provided us with our new best friend Nova 😊.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
