I'm Logan P., the breeder behind Eastern Mountain Danes & Rottweilers located in Hermon, ME. All of our dogs are raised in our home alongside our family. We breed both traditional and non-traditional colors, however, all breeding dogs are selected for structure, personality, and health.

Akiva is our foundation Rottie girl. She has her OFA CHIC 206227. Akiva has a sound temperament, is great with everyone she meets and absolutely adores children. She is a solid 85lbs of pure muscle with zero fat on her. JLPP clear, DM clear, NAD clear. Akiva has polish imports in her bloodline from Ekland Rottweilers.

About Áine
Áine (Awn-ya) is a chocolate fawn girl who carries blue, harlequin, tan point, and double masking. She is intuitive, athletic, intelligent, and a perfect overall family dog. Áine has a great PennHip score, and has passed her OFA eyes and congenital cardiac. Áine has many great qualities that make her our foundation female.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
