I'm Anna M., the breeder behind Eclipse Alapaha Kennels located in Grafton, OH. Here at Eclipse Kennel, we breed the rare Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog. We are a hobby based kennel and are active in obedience and showing! Our dogs come from some of the best stock and we have searched high and low looking for animals that fit both standards in conformation and working abilities! Our dogs are also loving family members and live in our home with small children and other animals.

Why did you start breeding?
I noticed that there was zero health testing being done in my breed, I wanted to improve the health, temperament and work towards building a healthier Bulldog that can function and perform any task asked of it.What makes your program special?
We breed to improve on health, consistent type, and temperament! We breed for personal protection and family guardians.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Anna

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
