I'm Julia M., the breeder behind Eden Valley Labradoodles located in West Friendship, MD. Our love for the Labradoodle began in 2002 when a close friend first introduced us to this new and wonderful breed. We strive to breed genetically sound Labradoodles with wonderful personalities that will blend in perfectly with your family.

Why did you start breeding?
My mother began Eden Valley Labradoodles in 2004 out of her love for animal husbandry and the intense love that she had for our first pet Labradoodle named Bear. While I have always been moms ‘right hand man’ on a part time basis I finally joined her full time in 2018 after finishing college and have never felt more fulfilled than I do now. I truly have the best job that ever existed!What makes your program special?
Not only do we do extensive health testing with our breeding dogs, but we also take extra steps to ensure that the temperaments of our developing puppies are solid. We start with early neurological stimulation, then begin ‘sound socialization’ and between 6-7 weeks we take them to new places to expand their worlds. We also give them a head start on house breaking and crate training!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include caramel cream, caramel, red, apricot, chocolate, cafe, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,000 - $9,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Our puppies come with a 2 yr warranty, microchip, age appropriate vaccine and will have been wormed 3 times before they leave for their new homes. Pets are $4,000 trained puppies/ dogs are $10,000. 500 dollar non refundable deposit is due at time of application submission.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures (NEwS), Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis (HNPK), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
