I'm Maria A., the breeder behind Ederra (Kuvasz and Pumi) located in Silverado, CA. We offer top-quality dogs with complete health screenings and good temperaments. We are very proud of our dogs and pups. Our dogs are raised in our home and house, not kennels. We focus on health and temperament first and foremost while also breeding to the AKC breed standard with many Champions to our name including national specialty and Best in Show winners.

What makes your program special?
We are a small family-operated breeding operation where all dogs and puppies interact with family in the home. We not only do the required health testing of the sire and dam but also do genetic testing of the puppies prior to leaving our home to know the complete health picture of the dog.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Pumi puppies are black. Kuvasz puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Price
"This price reflects the health testing of both sire and dam as well as the genetic testing of the puppies prior to going to their homes. Puppies are examined by a veterinarian and certificates of health are provided as well. We also provide AKC registration and a contract of sale. Deposits are refundable given the circumstances of the request."

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Primary Lens Luxation (PLL)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
