Meet the breeder

I'm Annika C., the breeder behind Elegy Kennels located in Lithia, FL. Prideful of health testing, temperament testing, socializing, and evaluating our dogs. Exhibiting, trialing, and supporting each breed as a preservationist.

Q. & A. with Annika

  • Why did you start breeding?

I wanted to do my part in contributing to the world of good breeding. Initially starting by assisting others breeders while raising up our dogs, we will always strive to improve each breed we have worked with.
  • What makes your program special?

As a trainer, I focus on giving my puppies the best chance they have at becoming well rounded and confident adults. I provide them with appropriate foundation, train at an early stage, and find strengths in each pup so they're set up for success.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Annika

Annika has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Annika partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

“We are pet professionals that evaluate prior to health certificate appointments - We drive them to Sarasota where another breeder of the breed, an AKC Judge, and an outside trainer are able to evaluate and assess conformation and temperament.. with all information considered we then make our selections. Show and working homes hold priority. Please contact us directly for more information about our process. We have raised, assessed, worked, and placed hundreds of litters from professional rearing for other programs, working programs and service dog organizations.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,150 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Pricing for puppies varies per breeding. Please be fully committed prior to filling out an application. Deposits are non refundable but transferable to any future litter.”
