Q. & A. with Jeremy
Why did you start breeding?
I got into breading when I was younger. My parents bred, trained, and competed with English Springer Spaniels. I was taught early on how to pair and breed for traits to better the breed and to get consistent results and health from your breedings.
What makes your program special?
We breed dogs that are selected for the breed work. All selections are based on testing criteria and health testing. We only choose lines that have titled lineage to ensure our buyers are adopting puppies that will truly excel in their forever homes.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Labrador Retriever puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Breeder-Reported Testing
Great level
Elite Canine Training & Outfitters reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Belgian Malinois.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Lumbosacral Transitional Vertebra (LTV)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
