Meet the breeder

I'm Amelia L., the breeder behind Elja Danes located in Aspers, PA. We love to responsibly raise and train Great Danes so they have the tools to be well-rounded, beloved family members. We offer healthy puppies who will excel in any adventure with their new family! Our dogs are intelligent and loving, and they produce wonderful pups. We're passionate about these dogs and are careful to breed and raise our pups with only the best policies.

Q. & A. with Amelia

  • Why did you start breeding?

I grew up in a family that has always bred. My grandparents bread Dobermans and Welsh Corgis whilst showing AKC for many years. My Father also bred, spaniels, specifically Britney and Springer.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are family dogs while still meeting all health standards of the breed. We are conscious breeders that actively contribute to our community as well as rescues organizations as every dog deserves a family but not every dog can meet a families needs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include silver, mantle merle, blue brindle, blue and white, black and white, brindle, fawn, blue, harlequin, mantle, merle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
