I'm Amaly S., the breeder behind Ellie's Cute as a Button Yorkies located in New Holland, PA. At Ellie's Cute as a Button Yorkies we pride ourselves on being conscientious, ethical breeders of Bernedoodles and Yorkshire Terriers. Our puppies are home-raised and pre-spoiled. We breed for puppies that are healthy with beautiful coloring, well socialized and energetic.

Why did you start breeding?
Having trained as a midwife/doula in my younger days, I felt confident breeding our yorkie, Eloise Button, she had a perfect first litter and from that our small breeding practice began, named for our sweet Ellie. We have been breeding yorkies since then and most recently added a bernedoodle to our pack who has now had her first litter of healthy, precious puppies.What makes your program special?
We very carefully vet all potential parents and offer a life time of advice, friendship, and puppy sitting. Our dogs are our family, they live in our home, sleep on our sofas, and are never re-homed.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Bernedoodle puppies include tiny and mini sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Bernedoodle puppies include black, black and white, and merle. Yorkshire Terrier puppies include parti and blue and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

GM2 Gangliosidosis, Poodle Type, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), von Willebrand Disease II (vWD II), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
