I'm Anabelle K., the breeder behind Elm Hollow Golden Retrievers located in Lafayette, AL. We breed only fully tested AKC parents. We have over 20 years of experience. Our dogs are our passion, and we can't imagine spending our lives without them. We are dedicated to achieving excellence and healthy family pets, and we love to raise puppies and prepare them for their forever homes.

Why did you start breeding?
Breeding for our family started in the very early 2000s with our first AKC field golden, Lucy. It has been a labor of love since and has been spread to our family.What makes your program special?
We not only utilize genetic testing but all of the breed-recommended OFA testing as well. Our dogs are family and we only breed dogs who pass rigorous health and temperament testing.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include dark golden and golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
