I'm Rachel B., the breeder behind Elysee Standard Poodles located in Twin Falls, ID. Our primary purpose as breeders is to advance our own line of show dogs. We produce solid white and black puppies from health-tested, AKC titled parents with exceptional pedigrees and wonderful personalities. We breed for beauty and soundness but also health, temperament and intelligence.
Q. & A. with Rachel
Why did you start breeding?
After competing with Iris I knew I wanted to breed my own home-raised champions and start my own line. My breeding program has been years in the making and I’m so proud and thrilled to send home such amazing puppies to their wonderful new families.
What makes your program special?
Parents are carefully chosen from top-winning conformation pedigrees as outstanding examples of the breed. Puppy raising protocols include ENS, lots of early socialization and desensitization, and beginning obedience training. Our puppies are amazing! Their intelligence and balanced temperaments make them excellent for almost anything and we have past puppies training to be therapy dogs.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
