Janice has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Janice partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
“Puppies are matched with families once their temperaments can be properly evaluated, typically around 6 weeks. I work with each family to understand their lifestyle and help guide them toward the puppy whose personality will be the best fit.”

“This price includes the puppy's first 2 rounds of vaccinations, deworming, heath check by our licensed veterinarian & microchip. Puppies also come with their dewclaws removed & tails docked. Puppy prices vary by color, size, and breed. A $250 deposit reserves your puppy and removes them from availability. Deposits are non-refundable once a puppy is marked RESERVED.”
Janice may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Ozzy
Temperament: Ozzy is full of personality — a playful spirit with a big attitude to match. He loves to play, explore, and stay close to his people. Like many poodles, Ozzy is very affectionate and happiest when he can be near his family. When he was younger, Ozzy had extremely high energy. As he has matured, that energy has naturally mellowed into a more balanced temperament, though he still enjoys daily play, exercise, and mental stimulation. Ozzy also has a fun, expressive personality. Occasionally he may “argue” when told no if the mood is light and playful. However, he clearly understands boundaries and responds immediately when given a firm command. Important Note for Prospective Puppy Families: Personality Highlights: • Affectionate and people-oriented • Playful and curious • Highly intelligent and responsive to training • Loyal “velcro dog” temperament typical of the breed Ozzy’s expressive personality, intelligence, and strong bond with his people are traits we love to see passed down to his puppies. Families considering one of Ozzy’s puppies should understand that poodles are naturally energetic, highly intelligent dogs. They thrive when they receive: • Regular exercise • Daily interaction with their people • Mental stimulation and training • Plenty of affection and companionship Poodles are often described as “velcro dogs” because they form strong bonds with their families and prefer to be involved in everyday activities rather than left alone for long periods. For the right home, this loyalty and intelligence make them incredibly rewarding companions. However, they do best with owners who are prepared to provide the time, attention, and engagement that this breed naturally seeks. What Ozzy Passes to His Puppies Ozzy consistently passes along many of the qualities we value most in our breeding program. His puppies tend to inherit his intelligence, affectionate personality, and people-focused temperament. Like their father, they often form strong bonds with their families and enjoy being actively involved in daily life. Ozzy’s puppies are typically: • Very people-oriented • Eager to learn and responsive to training • Playful and curious • Affectionate companions who enjoy staying close to their owners Because poodles are highly intelligent and energetic dogs, Ozzy’s puppies thrive in homes where they receive regular interaction, playtime, and mental stimulation. For families looking for an engaged, loving companion who wants to be part of everything you do, Ozzy’s puppies tend to be an excellent fit. Why Ozzy Was Chosen for Our Program: Ozzy was selected for our breeding program because he represents many of the qualities we aim to produce in our puppies: intelligence, personality, strong structure, and a people-focused temperament. He has an outgoing and confident nature while still being affectionate and closely bonded with his family. His playful personality and loyal temperament make him a joy to live with and an excellent example of the Toy Poodle breed. Ozzy is CKC registered as a Toy Poodle with the Continental Kennel Club. As Ozzy has matured, his youthful high energy has settled into a more balanced temperament while still maintaining the playful spirit typical of poodles. His combination of intelligence, personality, and strong attachment to people are traits we are proud to see carried forward in the puppies he sires.

About Dorothy
Temperament: Dorothy is mellow, well-mannered, and incredibly affectionate. She loves to cuddle and enjoys being close to her people. She does exceptionally well during grooming and is noticeably quieter than many poodles. Dorothy rarely barks indoors and usually only speaks up when she goes outside to greet the neighbors’ dogs. Dorothy is also an outstanding mother. She stays very attentive to her puppies from birth until they go home around 9–12 weeks. During that time she naturally teaches them: Patience and appropriate play Early potty pad/box habits Confidence and social interaction Transitioning from nursing to solid puppy food Her calm temperament helps produce puppies that are confident, affectionate, and well-adjusted. Health & Testing: Dorothy was carefully selected for our breeding program based on her excellent temperament, strong maternal instincts, and overall health. She receives regular veterinary care and is maintained in excellent physical condition. Prior to breeding, Dorothy is evaluated to ensure she is healthy and capable of producing well-adjusted puppies. Our puppies are raised in a clean, enriched home environment where their health, social development, and early learning are prioritized from birth. We take great pride in raising puppies that are healthy, confident, and well-prepared for family life. Why We Chose Dorothy for Our Program: Dorothy represents the qualities we value most in our breeding program: a calm temperament, intelligence, and an affectionate personality. She is gentle, patient, and extremely attentive to her puppies. Dorothy naturally teaches her litters appropriate play, early independence, and how to transition into the routines they will need in their future homes. Her relaxed demeanor and loving nature help produce puppies that are people-oriented, adaptable, and eager to bond with their families. Dorothy’s unique sable coloring also produces beautiful puppies with soft, curly coats and striking coloration. Why Dorothy Is Listed as a Yorkipoo rather than Poodle: Good Dog requires breeders to list dogs according to their original crossbreed category when Yorkie ancestry exists in the lineage. Dorothy’s great-grandmother was a Yorkshire Terrier, and subsequent generations were bred with Poodles. Because of this historical ancestry, the platform requires Dorothy to be categorized as a Yorkipoo. However, after several generations of poodle breeding, Dorothy’s genetics and traits are overwhelmingly poodle. When Dorothy is paired with a 100% Poodle, the puppies will display poodle characteristics, coat type, and temperament. For this reason, many people describe Dorothy as a Yorkipoo based on lineage history, while her puppies are best understood as poodle-type puppies in both appearance and behavior. Why Does Dorothy Look Like a Very Curly Yorkipoo? Dorothy carries a beautiful sable coat color. Sable is a golden coat with darker tips. While this coloring is more commonly associated with Yorkies, it can also appear in poodles—though it is much rarer. As sable puppies mature: The darker tips gradually fade Grooming removes much of the darker shading Longer hair (especially on the ears) may retain darker coloring longer This unique coloring is what gives Dorothy her Yorkipoo-like appearance, even though her genetics are overwhelmingly poodle.

DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
