Meet the breeder

I'm Michaela H., the breeder behind Emerald Mini Poodles located in Myrtle Beach, SC. Emerald Mini Poodles is a small, home-based breeding program specializing in ACA-registered Miniature Poodles. We are passionate about raising healthy, happy, and well-socialized puppies in a family-focused environment. Our program is intentionally limited to just our two dogs, allowing us to give each litter the time, attention, and love they deserve. Both of our dogs are fully health and genetic tested, ensuring the highest standards for our puppies.

Q. & A. with Michaela

  • Why did you start breeding?

We chose to breed our dogs to share the love, loyalty, and joy they bring into our lives. Their gentle nature, playful spirit, and devotion inspired us to offer families the same special bond. Breeding responsibly lets us give others a chance to experience the happiness our poodles bring every day.
  • What makes your program special?

Our program is special because we stay small, breeding only from our two beloved, health-tested family dogs. Each puppy is raised in our home with daily love, care, and socialization. We focus on quality over quantity, ensuring every pup is confident, happy, and ready to be a cherished part of their new family.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, brown, cream, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I recently got a sweet and cuddly mini poodle from Michaela, and I couldn’t be happier! My puppy is only a month old but is already so well-adjusted, friendly, and affectionate. It’s clear that Michaela put a lot of care, time, and love into raising the litter. The whole process was smooth, and I felt confident knowing my puppy came from such a responsible and thoughtful breeder. I’m so grateful and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a happy and healthy pup!

Michaela was wonderful to work with from the very beginning. She answered all our questions quickly and clearly, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. She also made sure we had everything we needed for the flight and for our puppy’s first day at home. The whole process felt smooth and thoughtful, and we’re very grateful for her support.
