Q. & A. with Amanda
Why did you start breeding?
I have been showing and exhibiting english springer spaniels since 2007. I have had many dogs that I would have loved to breed but for one reason or another, they did not have traits or health issues that I wanted to pass on. I have spent the last 17 years studying the lines and traits of dogs I wish to perpetuate and learning the breed as a whole. I feel I have a better vision now of my program.
What makes your program special?
English Springer Spaniels are my absolute passion. My dogs are my whole world and the bond and meaning they provide to me is truly special. I am involved in the parent club as well as ongoing research for health and genetics in this breed to help make our dogs healthier. I believe in being transparent about health issues and educating buyers while providing lifelong support and education.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are liver and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
