I'm Peter & Naomi A., the breeder behind Esmé Doodles located in Martinsburg, WV. We are a GANA Blue Ribbon certified in-home breeder who do extensive genetic health testing & incorporate Puppy Culture training protocols — the results being happy, well-adjusted, healthy puppies who are far less likely to experience the health problems that are common to the breed as they age.
Q. & A. with Peter & Naomi
Why did you start breeding?
Our youngest child suffers from many pet allergies. We had wanted a dog for a long time, and discovered all the advantages of goldendoodles! After falling in love with the breed, we decided we wanted to share the wealth with others who might be in the same boat as us.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are GANA blue ribbon certified (which is similar to the AKC for goldendoodles). They pass extensive genetic and health testing before breeding, to ensure that they birth pups with the best chance at a long, healthy life.
In addition, we also incorporate Puppy Culture protocols into our training, to give the pups the best head start possible before they go off to their forever homes.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
