I'm Jenny S., the breeder behind Everest's Golden Legacy located in Bountiful, UT. At Everest’s Golden Legacy, we intentionally raise Golden Retrievers known for their loving, therapy-type temperaments. Through health testing, purposeful enrichment, early socialization, and careful matching, we help each puppy thrive in the right family.

Why did you start breeding?
My love for animals began early in life as I raised a variety of pets, their babies, and a few litters of puppies. This gave me an appreciation for the responsibility and joy of bringing well-loved family pets into the world. Years later, my passion for Golden Retrievers inspired me to create my own program focused on exceptional temperaments, health, and lifelong companions.
What makes your program special?
At Everest's Golden Legacy, we believe the best companions are thoughtfully raised from the very beginning. Inspired by a lifelong love of animals, we focus on producing Golden Retrievers with gentle temperaments. Our puppies are raised in our home and on our property, exploring gardens and nature while receiving ENS, ESI, enrichment, socialization and confidence-building foundations.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jenny

Jenny has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Jenny partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

“Our matching process is focused on finding the best fit between each puppy and their future family. We spend time observing each puppy’s personality, temperament, and confidence level throughout their development. Families are encouraged to share their lifestyle, preferences, and goals so we can help guide them toward the puppy that best complements their home. Our priority is creating lifelong, successful placements for both puppies and families.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $350 non-refundable deposit and $2,350 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“A non-refundable $350 deposit is required to join our waitlist. Selections. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of size, color and gender.”

Contract & health guarantee

Jenny may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Jenny offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Jenny directly.

Everest is a beautiful dark red Golden Retriever with an exceptionally gentle, intuitive, and affectionate temperament. She loves nothing more than being snuggled up to her people and is the queen of all things cozy. When she isn't snuggling or being pampered, she enjoys hiking, swimming, and being at the family cabin. Everest truly embodies the kind of personality that makes Golden Retrievers so beloved.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
