I'm Cynthia G., the breeder behind Evergreen Acres located in Garden Prairie, IL. We love the opportunity of walking new owners through the puppy process and we’re devoted to spending as much time as necessary to be sure you’re getting the perfect addition to welcome as a beloved companion!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I started breeding after years of training and competing in conformation, obedience, agility and rally.
  • What makes your program special?

    I an a small hobby breeder with only one or two litters a year so I can devote plenty of time to each and every puppy. I want every puppy to leave prepared for its new family.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have stock coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Cynthia

Cynthia has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $1,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Includes AKC registration paperwork. A familiar toy or blanket to help transition your puppy to its new home. Deposits only required if you are not able to pick up at 8 weeks.”

Cynthia may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
