Samantha began breeding Dutch Shepherds out of deep admiration for their incredible work abilities, unwavering drive, and engaging temperament. Her bond with her first Dutch Shepherd, Shelby, who saved her life by alerting her to a stroke, sparked her passion. Shelby’s heroism and loyal spirit inspired Samantha to share these extraordinary traits with others through responsible breeding.What makes your program special?
My Dutch Shepherd program stands out for its unwavering commitment to excellence. I prioritizes health, correct conformation, mental stability, & exceptional working ability, ensuring each dog excels both physically & mentally. Unlike conventional breeders, I keeps my puppies until 10 weeks old, providing the time & care needed to prepare them for life’s challenges with confidence & resilience.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black brindle, yellow, silver brindle, and gold brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Litter update on 25 Mar •…Time flies by when you’re having fun! The puppies are nearly 2 weeks old, their eyes are almost completely open and they are getting their legs under them and toddling around like drunk little sailors!

Litter update on 17 Mar •…The twice baked potato’s are 5 days old today and doing great, they have all nearly doubled their birthweights and are smashing every milestone. They have been introduced to the following scents: wood smoke, orange peel, rose petal, coconut and lime. I may do lavender or birch today.

Litter update on 15 Mar •…Keeper’s babies are here! 2 boys and 3 girls. So far we have 1 male and 2 females reserved so I will be looking for special homes for 2 puppies, 1 male and 1 female will be available. FHH Health Testing Incentive Program At Fabergé Hollandse Herdershond (FHH), we are committed to the long-term health and structural soundness of our dogs. To help gather valuable health data and encourage responsible ownership, we offer the following incentive for puppies produced from the FHH Vapor x FHH My Little Keeper litter. Owners who complete Preliminary OFA Hip and Elbow radiographs at 12 months of age will receive a $200 reimbursement. Program Requirements: • Dog must be 12 months of age or older at the time of x-rays • Radiographs must be submitted to OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) for evaluation • Owner must provide verification of OFA submission/results to FHH • Radiographs must be performed by a licensed veterinarian Once documentation is received and verified, $200 will be issued to the owner as a reimbursement for participating in the health testing program. This program helps us continue improving the soundness, structure, and longevity of the Fabergé Hollandse Herdershond breeding program.

Litter update on 05 Mar •…It looks like Keeper will give us 4-5 little oopsie babies which is a relief, I did not want her to have a massive litter and put too much strain on her body. Please send prayers our way for her safety, health and the puppies health. She is 55/56 days along, just a few more days left.

Keeper is my beloved, bred by, owner handled Dutch Shepherd female who embodies the balance, clarity, and versatility the breed was intended to represent. She possesses high prey drive and high toy drive, paired with moderate defensive and food drive, giving her a thoughtful, controllable working temperament rather than a chaotic one. What truly sets Keeper apart is her remarkable off switch—a trait that is increasingly rare and deeply valued. She lives freely in the home, is non-destructive, exceptionally quiet, and highly intelligent. Keeper sleeps with her handler, Samantha, and transitions seamlessly between active work and calm companionship. In the home and in public settings, Keeper is stable, social when appropriate, and excellent with children. She demonstrates clear environmental awareness without unnecessary reactivity, making her equally suited for family life and serious work. Her ability to read situations and respond appropriately reflects both strong genetics and sound nerve. Keeper is the definition of a true dual-purpose dog: a devoted companion with real working ability. She earned the PPD Basic Obedience Championship in 2025 and is currently training toward PPD bite sport trialing in 2026, where she is already showing strong promise and confidence on the field. Physically, Keeper is on the smaller end of the standard but remains well within it, standing 27 inches tall and weighing 47 pounds. Her size contributes to her athleticism, agility, and endurance without sacrificing power or presence. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Temperament Test, Dentition, Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience getting our newest addition to the family! Samantha is just great, she responded within a few hours of us reaching out and was ready to work at our pace. We were able to schedule a pick up date that week and she was super accommodating of our long drive. When we arrived for pickup she had our puppy freshly bathed and nails trimmed with a nice little care package to take home with toys puppy liked and the food she had been feeding her! She talked us through her feeding routine and had a packet with all of puppy's info, including medical, aptitude and temperament and just some good general breed information. Our new puppy is curious, super affectionate, playful and just so cute. She's already settling into our routine and is making great progress with learning where to signal to go outside. We can tell already she is going to be such a rewarding dog to train and is going to fit in to our family perfectly! We're so happy we decided to get our puppy from Samantha and you will be too!

I was looking for my first dog, and she responded almost immediately, and offered to hop on a call whenever was convenient for me so that I could ask about anything and everything. Samantha and Tommy welcomed me into their home, let me spend some time with the puppy, ask questions, and even meet his parents.
