We have always had a special place in our hearts for Pekes and were devastated when our fourteen month old puppy died unexpectedly this past January this year. The vet feels she had a severe aneurysm. After a few weeks we decided we would adopted another puppy to join our family -- which included two senior Pekingese. We were lucky to find Faithlynn, Jeb and Denise through Faithful companions and immediately reached out to them and asked to adopt "Love", the only female in the litter born on Valentine's Day. After a great phone call with Jeb, and finding that we shared many interests in common, we were approved to adopt our little girl. After a nine hour drive to Arizona, we picked "Love" up in Kingman. We bonded instantly. Unbelievably, the trip back home in Colorado went without a hitch. She was quiet during the whole ride and slept most of the way. After returning home, she was immediately introduced to "Belle" and "Tiger" and their bond was instantaneous. They continue to be "BFF"s . The older dogs have helped her adapt to outside bathroom routines and to become familiar with property boundaries. One would think she has lived year since birth. She is feisty, playful and loves people. She also loves to girl up next to one of us an fall fast asleep. If one were to listen to her very carefully, it's easy to hear a slight snore! She is a hit with our many visitors and socializes quite easily. We recently changed her name to "Nayeli" for a plethora of reasons. As I mentioned before, our beautiful girl was born on Valentine's name and given the name "Love". (Each of her siblings had names associated with the holiday.) We have an affinity for the Mexican state of Oaxaca and go there yearly. With that in mind, we chose a name to honor her original name, holiday birthday and the state of Oaxaca. "Nayeli" is a Zapotec word from Oaxaca meaning "You Are Loved"......... This certainly describes the way we feel about her to a tee. Patrick and I can't thank Faithful Companions enough for allowing us to adopt this sweet little girl. We are so lucky to have found their listing on "Good Dogs"website. She came to us the picture of good health and wakes us up each morning with a soft bite and gnawing on our toes. She give us quite a chuckle with her feisty personality. We are hoping to adopt another Peke at some future date and are hoping to find another companion dog through Faithlynn and Jeb. To both Faithlynn and Jeb, thank you for the happiness Nayeli has brought us.

Ernest has been such a joy. He’s my sweet little wild child who never wants to leave my side. Very smart and happy-go-lucky. Recently had his first vet checkup and is growing beautifully (and loving on all the staff who didn’t want to put him down!). Faithful Companions made the whole process super easy. Jeb answered any and all questions, while providing updated photos. My family is already considering getting another Peke in the future and we’d definitely reach out to the Harvey family again.
