Meet the breeder

I'm Melody G., the breeder behind Falcon Ridge Doodles located in Huntsville, AL. We're passionate about raising exceptional companions, prioritizing health, temperament, and genetics. We believe in responsible breeding practices, starting with early socialization and fostering happy, well-adjusted puppies ready to become cherished members of your family.

Q. & A. with Melody

  • Why did you start breeding?

For over 10 years, Golden Retrievers have been a big part of our family and breeding program. When we brought our first goldendoodle into our home, we quickly fell in love with their playful personalities, intelligence, and the bond they form with their families. That experience inspired us to begin responsibly breeding doodles so we could share the same joy these amazing dogs bring to our lives.
  • What makes your program special?

Our breeding program starts with our parents being health & genetically tested. Our puppies are introduced to early neurological stimulation & socialization. I feel passionate about responsibly producing and raising quality puppies. I focus on the overall health, temperament, and socialization of our puppies. I absolutely love what I do and am so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing breeds.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Bernedoodle puppies include mini and medium sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Bernedoodle puppies include brown and white, black and white, and tri-color. Goldendoodle puppies include apricot, red, black, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
