I'm Heather H., the breeder behind Falkor Skye Terriers located in Center City, MN. Our goal is to ensure every dog from our program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role. Q. & A. with Heather
Why did you start breeding?
I have been participating in dog sports for over 15 years but have only recently begun to aspire at becoming a breeder. What better breed to start out in than a breed that truly needs our help. When I met my first Skye Terrier I was beyond charmed and knew they would push me to become an avid breeder.
What makes your program special?
We watch our adults for positive personality characteristics and test their health prior to breeding to make sure our puppies have the best chance at a good life. After birth they begin their adventure with a combination of enrichment programs that promotes confidence, soundness, exposures, and responsiveness to training.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Skye Terrier puppies include silver, gray, cream, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
