Joy B.

Breeder of Toy Australian Shepherds

Meet the breeder

I'm Joy B., the breeder behind Family Jewels Kennel located in Charlottesville, VA. We do our best to breed with total care by primarily focusing on raising healthy, affectionate, and loyal companions. As a result of our efforts, we’re positive our puppies will become perfect family members and add just as much joy to your life as they have ours!

Q. & A. with Joy

  • Why did you start breeding?

I saw the benefits this breed in particular can bring to so many lives, they love to “work” for their people.
  • What makes your program special?

They are family, it doesn’t end once they leave the nest. I am also available for training whether that is just puppy manners, socialization, agility or service training.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red, black, black tri, blue merle, red merle, and red tri. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
