Q. & A. with Melissa

  • Why did you start breeding?

FarmerDoodles has been breeding for 20 years. Our focus is to create healthy, confident, easy to train companions with little to no shedding, compared to the average dog. To accomplish this, we start with the best parents who have great temperaments, are well socialized, and that have been extensively health tested. We also utilize the benefits of coat testing to determine coat type and shedding probability. We will work closely with your family to help pair the perfect puppy with you!
  • What makes your program special?

We are located in the Northeastern Ohio area. Our goal is to produce healthy, happy puppies with exceptional temperaments. We do this by adhering to high standards that include health certified parents, Early Neurological Stimulations, top quality food and probiotics, litter box training starting at three weeks of age and more. Our Trainers, Paramount Dog Training, comes into our twice a week to work with each puppy individually. This will help set your puppy up for future training and transition into your home!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Bernedoodle puppies include mini and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, phantom, and parti. Bernedoodle puppies are tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Stella is doing well. She passed her first vet visit with flying colors this morning. She is beginning to sleep through the night. She doesn't like being in her crate except to sleep, and she is biting and chewing on everything, so we will soon sign up for training. She did very well with our 3 grandsons (11, 8, and 5 yrs. old.

Our experience was great! When we picked up our dog, she was calm for the whole ride home, and she’s been a very quick learner since we’ve had her! Farmer Doodles definitely did a great job of foundational training, making it easier for us a first time dog owners.

It's been about three weeks since we brought our puppy Toby home, and we are completely in love with him. He has no "stranger danger" at all - loves all people, curious about all things, and excited to explore the world. He loves to play fetch and chew his kong toys, and is working very hard on his manners. We adore him!

Bentley has been wonderful he learns very quickly. Within a few days he picked up on ringing bell at back door to let us know when he wants to go outside. He’s very sociable and gets along with other dogs in our neighborhood. He loves playing fetch with the ball. His crate training is going well he does not make any noise at night and at this point he gets up once or twice each night. All in all best dog we have ever owned thanks Randy & DeeDee Faggionato
