I'm Rhett B., the breeder behind Farmstead 51 located in Blue Springs, MO. We find great joy in providing happy and healthy puppies to loving and caring homes. Our dogs are pets first and foremost.

Why did you start breeding?
We wanted one litter of Golden Retrievers and after numerous breeding failures, meetings with veterinarians, research and talking with other respected breeders, we learned that there was a gap between responsible breeders and reproductive veterinarians. We worked to create a great team of advisors and veterinarians and then started our breeding program in 2011.What makes your program special?
We focus on health first, temperament second and color/size third. We work to educate our future Farmstead families about the responsibility of dog ownership, the special things about each breed and work to find them the right puppy for their needs.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Goldendoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Golden Retriever puppies are golden. Goldendoodle puppies include cream and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Rhett has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,700 - $3,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Includes: -age appropriate vaccinations -weekly correspondence -Virtual & In-person visit, selections at 7 weeks -transaction fees -lifetime support from F51 -Health Guarantee. Reservation fees are transferrable to another litter or breed but are not refundable.”
Contract & health guarantee
Rhett may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
