I'm Jennifer H., the breeder behind Feather Fletched English Goldens located in Williamsport, MD. It is a blessing to us to provide you with the next member of your family. We enjoy getting to know all of our clients and developing a lasting relationship with them. Puppies move on to their new family but we feel that a little piece of them always stays with us!

  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs are fully health tested and chosen based on temperament and conformation. Just as important, I strive to have a communicative relationship with puppy families from the beginning. I provide weekly photo updates to buyers and am always a phone call away if questions arise. I want to keep a relationship with our puppy families for the entire life of the dog, passing along any guidance or insight that would be helpful to the family and beneficial to the dog.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jennifer

Jennifer has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“2 year health guarantee, AKC limited registration, veterinary exam, age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, puppy pack, food sample, blanket with mom's scent, unlimited breeder support, guidance in choosing the right puppy for your lifestyle. When puppies are born a $500 deposit is required to reserve a puppy. You are then placed on a master waitlist with pick of puppy based on your position on the waitlist. Ex. 1st pick male, 3rd pick female.”

Contract & health guarantee

Jennifer may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

    I feel blessed to have found Jennifer and Feather Fletched English Goldens. I had never worked with Good Dogs before and had a wonderful experience. First, I searched by location and then by who was expecting a liter in the calendar window I was looking at. Jennifer responded quickly to my initial inquiry followed by an application and interview process. I greatly appreciated both, as it showed how much she cared. After the litter was born, Jennifer sent several pictures of the puppies which made me want one even more. At six weeks of age, I had a scheduled appointment to see the puppies and choose one. At eight weeks, I was able to pick him up. Not only did I pick up my dog, but I picked up a wonderful care package for me and the dog. On another note, it was clear that Jennifer worked with the dogs prior to them going to their new homes. Finn new some basic commands and has been easy to deal with in his new environment. I highly recommend Feather Fletched English Goldens.

    Jennifer was amazing to work with! For Bentlee being my first puppy, I couldn't ask for a better breeder to work with! She was quick to respond, answered any and all questions I had, and is still available even after I picked up Bentlee to answer any questions, keep in touch, and watch Bentlee grow! It is very comforting to me to know that she is always there to answer questions, and wants to see updates as they grow! Again, I couldn't ask for a better breeder! When it's time to give Bentlee a sibling, I will absolutely be keeping Jennifer in mind! If anyone is looking for an English Cream, I will point them in Jennifer's direction!

    We have had a wonderful experience working with Jennifer and her family at Feather Fletched Farm. From the very beginning she was very responsive and happy to answer all of my questions. She shared updates and advice throughout the process and helped to match our family with the perfect puppy for us. In visiting their farm, you can see the care, love and knowledge that goes into everything they do. Their dog Byrdie has a wonderful disposition and was amazing with our kids. It is also a nice touch with Jennifer provides a welcome package for your puppy with notes and preliminary supplies. Our puppy Mango came home with a sweet temperament and a strong foundation on training.
