I'm Amy H., the breeder behind Feathers on the Wind Farm located in Sanford, NC. We discovered the European lines of the English Springer Spaniel and fell in love with their super laid back temperaments and ticking. We believe strongly in participating in shows to get outside opinions on our dogs. We are taking a break and our next litter will be Spring 2027 at the earliest.

Amy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Amy partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.
“We do not offer traditional puppy picks based on order of deposit. Our puppies are matched with their new families based on on temperament evaluations around 7 weeks old. We may occasionally hold on to a couple longer if we are deciding between show prospects.”

“All puppies will go on limited registration with a spay/neuter contract. The puppies from each litter will be the same price, however our prices may change depending on a number of factors. Please ask if you have questions, our goal is to be transparent as possible.”
Amy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Amy offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Amy directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.

The pies are all growing well. We have started daily body handling to get them used to it as well as starting to get them familiar with the sensations that come with grooming.

Our handsome boy went best of breed in Tallmadge Ohio a couple weeks ago. Not every dog is a show dog. But every show dog is a pet.

English Springer Spaniel
About Moo
Moo came to us from the Ukraine in early 2023. She is the quintessential ESS. She is always up for an adventure, but equally ready to snuggle on the couch. Please the site listed in the "Meet the breeder" section of our profile for more information on her titles and health testing. Moo went into season a few weeks later than expected. Assuming the pairing takes, the puppies should arrive in the first week or so of September and go home mid November.
