I'm Samantha F., the breeder behind Ferguson Family Danes LLC located in Corsica, PA. We breed to temperament, optimal health, genetics, and conformation. All of our AKC dogs have OFA health certificates and have passed all genetic testing. We strive to produce the best Great Danes possible to provide you with the best family dog that will provide joy for years to come.

Why did you start breeding?
Samantha was never really a dog person, but was instantly taken aback by how tranquil and gentle Great Danes were when they got two girls in 2021. After two years of researching and praying, the Ferguson's plunged into the world of dog breeding and never looked back. Their hearts desire is bring the joy and love they experience with their Danes into other's homes too!What makes your program special?
We go above and beyond to make sure we are breeding only the healthiest and best tempered Danes on the market. We raise our puppies along side our children to make sure the puppies are properly socialized and well adapted to different environments. We also train them an advanced curriculum to insure optimal neurological development and physical growth.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Clover is a sweet, gentle girl who enjoys spending time outdoors and having space to relax. She has a more reserved, independent temperament and does best in a calm, low-pressure environment. She is still maturing and growing in confidence, and we expect her personality to continue developing with time. We love her soft nature and are excited to see these traits carried into her future litters.

Kimber is a chocolate merle tan point Great Dane. She is playful and energetic and has never met a stranger. She loves to cuddle and bury her nose in our laps any chance she gets. She is the most loyal dog we’ve ever known.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

I have the most fortunate luck of living only a 2 hours drive from the Ferguson’s! We met the whole family of humans & most of their beautiful dogs in person to pick out Blitzen when she was 3 weeks old. Benelli has a calm personality and is super well behaved. At pick-up we met Colt - a cuddly, friendly, big boy! We are excited to see the mix of temperament as she keeps growing (quickly) into adulthood. Blitzen now goes by Blaire, and she loves playing with our adult rescued beagle terrier. She also enjoys spending time with my son, watching the guinea pigs, and taking naps on my side of the bed!
