I'm Cearra B., the breeder behind Fernweh Standard Poodles located in East Stroudsburg, PA. We understand the responsibility of purposefully breeding in order to do better for the breed and the families that love them! While our goal is to share loving puppies with families, we are still a selective program. We only breed when we’re sure we can produce the healthiest and best example of the breed possible.
Q. & A. with Cearra
Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding after developing a love for the versatile dog. I have a love for dogs that are able to spend all day downtown quietly accompanying their owners, going to trials and having a blast, working in the field, or simply sleeping by their owners feet after a long dog. My goal is to produce a well rounded dog that will thrive in any environment.
What makes your program special?
My program is special because we focus on breeding the realistic dog. We understand how important it is to have a quality temperament, and we take steps during the whelping and raising process to set our puppies and their owners up for success for the entire duration of their lives.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot, black, blue, cream, white, parti, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
