I'm Carol Ann D., the breeder behind Findell Kennel, LLC located in Fresno, CA. We work hard to produce well-rounded Miniature Schnauzers with the potential to be solid show prospects and excellent family pets. We give our puppies the best start possible, so they’re set up to succeed as well-socialized, trainable, and wonderful additions to any family.

Why did you start breeding?
Findell Kennels started off with rescue work for PAWS and went to German Shepherd Rescue of San Diego under Steppenwolf Kennels. We went to miniature schnauzers and worked hard with our dogs to ensure they were DNA clear, were shown in AKC shows and personified the miniature schnauzer breed standard as indicated by AKC. I have been in business since the 70’s. I have participated in many Dog Sport competitions including Schutzhund and AKC and FCI. I have titled 6 dogs in Schutzhund, 3 Dogs in AKC obedience and 2 dogs to a Champion. I have titled 4 Dogs to international champion in FCI and one dog has five international titles in FCI.What makes your program special?
I do not breed outside the standard. Too many people are cross breeding colors and sizes which adds health and temperment problems to the breed. Miniature Schnauzers were bred for a reason, the bad gene's were bred out of them and now, money hungry people want to inbreed different colors and sizes making a very healthy and sturdy dog vulnerable to genetic problems of other breeds. This hurts me and you as a customer. Temperment is very important and I never want any of my puppies to be a behavior problem and that is why I am always here to answer questions and help you, without charge as you raise one of my beautiful, smart and healthy babies.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include salt and pepper, black and silver, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes AKC registration, first shots, vet check, chip and worming's. the higher price represents the cost for shipping if needed. All deposits are non-refundable unless we cannot supply the puppy described or pictured in this listing. Deposits can be transferred toward the next litter.”

Litter update on 06 Nov. •…Reduced price...We have a 9 week old puppy with a birth defect. She has a head tilt. She has been thoroughly inspected on 3 occasions and is fine except for the head tilt. My vet says she is quite normal and she acts it! She is sweet and looking gorgeous a forever home.

Litter update on 19 Sept. •…This week the puppies are 3 weeks old. They are trying to walk and have popped out of their whelping bed. Their eyes are open now and soon they will hear. Starting to get little whiskers on their nose. Next week they will be moved from the privacy of the office to the living room where they will be introduced to other dogs. Sounds like tv and kids. Lots of stuff going on. Updated pictures on Monday this week. Growing fast

About Sushi
Sushi is a very sweet and loving girl, very playful. Loves to play ball or just lay with you while you watch tv and give her belly rubs. She is very smart and chases the squirrels and birds in the yard with her friends Uhura and Rosie. She was easy to train and is a typical schnauzer.

About Lulu
Very Sweet, playful girl. Loves Playing with the ball, chasing the squirrels in the yard and lying next to me, cuddling and discussing the day. She is first in line for a "cookie" and always has a smile on her face. Lucy loves going in the swimming pool with me or on a raft to cool off after a hot day. She uses a doggie door to go in and out and never potties in the house. She is a great mother. She has a plan for her 8 puppies. She nurses half the litter then turns around and nurses the other half. She knows which puppies are in which group!! Very smart.

Uhri is a playful, sweet salt and pepper girl. Shrimp loves to chase squirrels and balls. She always cuddles on my lap in the evening and is well mannered, she is Clear with Embark DNA, clear of MAC and talks to us.

About Captain
Captain is a sweet and loveable guy. He loves to snuggle, and he is very good at chasing birds and squirrels from the yard. He definitely keeps us safe. He loves to play with my grandchildren, is soft hearted and loves to eat. Just say the word "snack," and he is right there. He has never pottied in the house, he is happy to go into his crate when asked and generally has good manners. He loves to pick up a toy and toss it in the air to play.

About Rosie
Rosie is a little "Mom" she loves to lay with us at night on the sofa. She plays well with her toys and alerts everyone to intruders in the yard like squirrels and birds. She is well-mannered and is always happy to obey the rules. She is sweet and loving and very well-natured. She also loves to play with her toys or just romp with her fellow schnauzers in and out our doggie door, playing chase or try and get my toy!! We can dress her up in sweaters and hats and she does not complain.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
