Why did you start breeding?
continuing a family tradition passed on by my parents who started in 1964. I am a preservationist and feel that this breed as been destroyed by doodle mixes and those who chose to breed with a knowledge of the written standard for a poodle. Education is the key to buying a good representation of the breed and that is where showing the parents count. Proving that they will improve the breed.What makes your program special?
Selective and only from quality dogs that meet the standard to compete in AKC conformation and some in performance events to prove they are good enough to carry on for the breed. I do not sell simply to someone who just wants to breed, I am a preservationist and strive to protect this lovely breed. NO doodles! About Rhea
Rhea is a female Poodle. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Nola decided to make her part of their program. Nola has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
