I'm Rachel W., the breeder behind Firefly Farm Minis located in Harrodsburg, KY. Our family lives on a beautiful mini flower farm in central Kentucky. We love raising puppies and growing flowers. Each puppy is loved and cuddled, talked to and nurtured the whole time they are with us. We are able to meet families coming from out of state part way.

Why did you start breeding?
A friend of mine had a beautiful mini golden doodle dog, and she told me about her breeding program and how much her kids enjoyed the experience and all she had learned from the endeavor.What makes your program special?
Puppies are raised in our home around our kids. We have two dogs that live in our home and one other dog that lives with a wonderful family. All three have the chance to live around children with special needs and the hustle and bustle of life, the puppies get this same opportunity. Our puppies have gone on to be amazing companions and even trained to be a service dog.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Litter update on 25 Apr 2025 •…Time is flying by and these guys are growing quickly. Big Cooper and little Chip are best buds and little Echo is always ready for a cuddle with his siblings and the kids. They are all around a fantastic crew and we are loving having them in our home as they learn and grow and get ready for their life with you.

Litter update on 25 Apr 2025 •…The little cuties are growing and changing every day! They just started solid food and are loving it! They spend time outside and of course get lots of social and snuggle time with the kids every day. Plenty of squiggle and wiggle time with their litter mates and are going to be the best companions and friends to their new homes.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
