I'm Leslieann S., the breeder behind Firefly Kennels located in Dixon, MO. We are a small home based breeder who strives to produce dual quality Brittanys. We pride ourselves on sound temperaments and biddable natural bird dogs.
We have Nationally ranked Owner Handled and All Breed show dogs that are as pretty on point as they are in the ring. We are an AKC Breeder of Merit.

Why did you start breeding?
I started in Weimaraners many years ago and when looking for a smaller breed to transition to we found the Brittany. We are enjoying focusing on a biddable dual dog that is a pleasure to have as a house dog.
What makes your program special?
We strive to produce healthy biddable dogs to live a variety of lifestyles
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and orange, white and liver, orange and white, and liver and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Leslieann has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $750 deposit and $1,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes first shots, deworming, tail docking and dew claw removal. AKC papers and microchip. Go home bag with sample of food, blanket, and toy. We offer a refund or transfer of deposit to another litter if our litter doesn’t have a pup for you.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
