I'm Nancy S., the breeder behind Firehouse Goldens located in Northumberland County, VA. I hand-raise all of my dogs with love in my home. My goal is to produce healthy dogs with great temperaments that are exemplary representations of the breed. I have high expectations for my puppies and make sure to place each one with an enriching and loving family complementary to their personality and ability!

Why did you start breeding?
Golden Retrievers are an incredible breed, and I decided to start my breeding program in order to preserve the wonderful qualities I found in my dogs. They excel both in and out of the show ring and have proven to be the best of the best in every aspect. I am dedicated to improving my lines with each generation so that the breed will continue to thrive for a long time to come and excellent confirmation.What makes your program special?
I am a professional breeder of high-quality Golden Retrievers. I do not produce a litter unless each of my parent dogs are fully healthy and excellent representations of the standard. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming my pups. I love what I do and truly want nothing more than to see each and every one of my puppies shine!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Puppy prices include between $3,000 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
