I'm Joyce B., the breeder behind Flint River Poodles located in Huntsville, AL. We are experienced breeders of top-quality Poodles. Our puppies are raised in my home with care, and we only sell to responsible homes. Flint River Poodles’ mission is to breed conformationally correct Mini and Moyen Poodle puppies. We emphasize compassion for each other, our Poodles, and the communities they serve.

Joyce has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Joyce partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Price includes health guarantee, first vaccinations, and deworming prior to placement. Deposits are required to hold a puppy. Deposit is applied total price of puppy. Deposits are valid for up to three consecutive litters of the same dam.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Working with Joyce was all you would want in a breeder. She answered all of my questions promptly, gave me updates and photos of Anna, and made accommodations in meeting with us. On our pickup date, we were presented with all we needed to get Anna started in her new home, and Joyce gave us lots of advice regarding settling Anna in. It is apparent that Anna comes from good stock - she has been easy to train, extremely lovable, social, and so smart. Great experience, all around.

Joyce was great and the puppy is fantastic! Draco is very smart and is already potty trained. He has only had 1 accident in the house since we started the training. Started with every hour and next day added more time. Now out every 3 or 4 hours daily. He’s sleeping most of the night and gets up every morning around 5am to go out. Love him bunches. Thanks so much Joyce. May need help with registration paperwork!

Joyce returned our text and messages promptly concerning wanting to come meet our new Puppy “Gunnar”.
