Flying Feather Farm

Tammy G.

Certified Breeder of Goldendoodles

Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Flying Feather Farm located in Afton, TN. A small, family farm, providing healthy, happy Goldendoodle puppies to loving, forever families, based on a good match for both. All of this started with our first dog, Cubby in 2001, and is now a reality of raising and breeding our family dogs. From our home to yours with happy, healthy companions.

Q. & A. with Tammy

  • Why did you start breeding?

We transitioned into the dog breeding business after many years of self-employment from home. It took prayer, investigation, learning, and more prayer before we dove into it. Thankfully early on we were introduced to GANA, an excellent association for Goldendoodle breeders. GANA has provided guidance, resources, and accreditation to our program, along with referrals from serious educated seekers.
  • What makes your program special?

We offer a personalized service. It's a big decision to take a forever pet into your home. The new family needs to know about the parent dogs, their daily care, health, temperament, and personalities to help guide to what they're getting in too. Lots of communication and visits to the farm for the new puppy family to feel comfortable and confident with their decision.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, apricot, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
