Tanya L.

Breeder of Golden Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Tanya L., the breeder behind Flying Gold Kennel located in Cheyenne, WY. Our dogs are outstanding representations of the breed and excel in dock diving and as our beloved companions. We are conscientious in our breeding practices, and we breed for health, temperament, drive, and ability. We want our dogs to be biddable and able to succeed in their roles as well as to thrive in their homes with their families.

Q. & A. with Tanya

  • Why did you start breeding?

We love our dogs. They are our family and we want to keep them with us forever through their offspring.
  • What makes your program special?

We are following the Puppy Culture Curriculum until they travel home to their furever homes. We are completing Embark DNA testing on our litters so that buyers have personalized information about their puppy to include traits like coloring and genetic test clearances. We completed early scent introduction (ESI) and eary neurological stimulation (ENS) on days 3-16. On day 49, we will perform the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include dark golden and golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
